Abstract

Genset berbahan bakar biogas kinerjanya sangat bergantung kepada kualitas daripada biogas sehingga akan berdampak terhadap listrik yang dihasilkan oleh genset nantinya, karena kandungan gas metana yang berubah ubah sehingga akan berdampak terhadap kinerja peralatan yang mempergunakan listrik dari genset. Genset juga akan dipengaruhi oleh beban yang mempergunakan dari listrik yang akan dihasilkan akibat daripada kualitas biogas yang jelek sehingga akan berdampak pada listrik yang dihasilkan apalagi jika genset dibebani dengan peralatan yg daya listrik nya berubah-ubah seperti Bor Listrik. Selain itu, saat ini pengecekan pada genset dilakukan secara manual oleh operator sehingga hal tersebut kurang efektif dimana perlu perancangan alat sebagai sistem monitoring output genset untuk membantu operator dalam pengecekan genset. Pengukuran beban listrik genset dimulai dari penampung biogas yang berisi biogas yang diambil dari reaktor anaerob kemudian biogas dialirkan menggunakan pipa yang telah ada di genset yang sudah dimodifikasi karburatornya. Ketika genset dinyalakan kemudian dilakukan pengukuran arus dan tegangan listrik yang dihasilkan genset secara real time. Sistem monitoring ini akan dioptimalkan oleh powermeter iEM2050 yang merupakan alat ukur beban listrik yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur berbagai macam jenis besaran listrik diantaranya arus, tegangan, frekuensi dan daya secara real time. Prinsip kerja sistem dimulai saat alat diaktifkan dan proses inisialisasi input nilai besaran listrik dari alat tersebut kemudian dari powermeter akan diolah data pembacaan nilainya ke mikrokontroller dengan protocol komunikasi moodbus sebagai data processing melalui komunikasi data serial RS485 to TTL untuk dilakukan pengolahan dan mengirimkan data supaya dapat ditampilkan pada layar PC yang mana akan dibuat GUI (Graphical User Interface) untuk menampilkan nilai pengukuran beban listrik genset. Melalui GUI ini, pengguna dapat dengan mudah memantau pemakaian besaran listrik secara aktual yang diakses melalui GUI pada PC sehingga memudahkan operator untuk memantau konsumsi energi listrik genset. Dari perancangan alat ukur ini akan dipergunakan sebagai masukan atau informasi ke kontroller untuk dipergunakan sebagai salah satu variable yang akan dipergunakan untuk mengatur supply biogas guna dalam mengendalikan stabilitas operasional genset

The performance of a biogas-fueled generator depends on the quality of biogas so that it will have an impact on the electricity produced by the generator, because the methane gas content changes so that it will have an impact on the performance of equipment that uses electricity from the generator. The generator will also be affected by the load that uses the electricity that will be generated due to poor biogas quality so that it will have an impact on the electricity produced, especially if the generator is loaded with equipment whose electrical power varies such as an electric drill. In addition, currently checking on the generator is done manually by the operator so that it is less effective where it is necessary to design a tool as a generator output monitoring system to assist the operator in checking the generator. The measurement of the generator's electrical load starts from a biogas reservoir containing biogas which is taken from an anaerobic reactor and then the biogas is flowed using a pipe that is already in the generator with a modified carburetor. When the generator is turned on, the current and voltage generated by the generator are measured in real time. This monitoring system will be optimized by the iEM2050 powermeter which is an electrical load measuring instrument that can be used to measure various types of electrical quantities including current, voltage, frequency and power in real time. The working principle of the system starts when the device is activated and the initialization process for inputting electrical values from the device then from the powermeter will process the value reading data to the microcontroller with the moodbus communication protocol as data processing through RS485 to TTL serial data communication for processing and sending data so that it can be displayed. on the PC screen where a GUI (Graphical User Interface) will be created to display the value of the generator's electrical load measurement. Through this GUI, users can easily monitor the actual electricity usage which is accessed via a GUI on a PC, making it easier for operators to monitor the generator's electrical energy consumption. From the design of this measuring instrument, it will be used as input or information to the controller to be used as one of the variables that will be used to regulate the biogas supply in order to control the operational stability of the generator.
