Abstract

PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan dibidang digital di Indonesia. Menurut PT XYZ karyawan adalah orang yang bekerja pada suatu perusahan yang menjadi kunci suatu perusahan. Berhasil atau tidaknya organisasi bergantung pada kinerja karyawan pada perusahan tersebut. Evaluasi kinerja dilakukan sekarang oleh PT XYZ dengan menggunakan metode 360 derajat. Metode 360 derajat yang digunakan dapat memantau dan mengevaluasi hasil kinerja masing-masing karyawan, namun evaluasinya bias dan bisa sangat subyektif, sehingga tidak akurat dan tidak mencerminkan perilaku yang berkaitan dengan kinerja karyawan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, Management by Objective (MBO) dan Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scale (BARS) digunakan untuk membuat sistem dan aplikasi evaluasi kinerja karyawan untuk mengurangi risiko penurunan kinerja karyawan. Dengan menggunakan metode MBO, standar evaluasi dan sub standar akan dikembangkan dalam proses evaluasi kinerja, sedangkan metode BARS dapat mengetahui peristiwa-peristiwa penting yang terjadi di PT XYZ, mengevaluasi skala, dan memperoleh indikator evaluasi dari standar dan sub-standar. Melalui kedua metode tersebut, dihasilkan target kerja baru untuk setiap bagian yang terdapat di PT XYZ. Hasil pengujian dari masing- masing fungsi pada aplikasi penilaian kinerja pegawai dapat berjalan sesuai dengan fungsi tersebut yaitu melakukan pemeliharaan data, penyajian kembali nilai, evaluasi kinerja dan pelaporan.

PT XYZ is a company in the digital field in Indonesia. According to PT XYZ, Employees are people who work for a company that is the key to a company. The success or failure of the organization depends on the performance of the employees at the company. PT XYZ's current performance evaluation is using the 360 degrees method. The 360 degrees method used can monitor and evaluate the performance results of each employee, but the evaluation is biased and can be very subjective, so it is inaccurate and does not reflect behavior related to employee performance. To solve this problem, "Management by Objective" (MBO) and "Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scale" (BARS) are used to create employee performance evaluation systems and applications to reduce the risk of employee performance degradation. By using the MBO method, evaluation standards and sub-standards will be developed in the performance evaluation process, while the BARS method can find out important events that occurred in PT XYZ, evaluate the scale, and obtain evaluation indicators from standards and sub-standards. Through these two methods, new work targets were generated for each division in PT XYZ. The results of each function in the employee performance appraisal application can run according to these functions, namely performing data maintenance, restatement of value, performance evaluation and reporting.
