Abstract

PT.

PT. Suri Tani Pemuka is one of the companies that carry out shrimp farming, where the results from shrimp cultivation will be exported or sold locally. One aspect that has an important role in shrimp farming is the quality of the water used. The three main parameters that determine the quality of shrimp cultured water are temperature, pH, and dissolved oxygen. In this study, shrimp culture water quality control will be carried out using the Max-MEWMA control chart because this control chart can detect small process shifts and is also more considered efficient because it can monitors the mean and variance of the process simultaneously and continues with process capability analysis. The results of the analysis using the Max-MEWMA control chart show that in phase I, it has been statistically controlled in iteration 1 after eliminating 2 observations, and in phase 2 the control diagram has not been statistically controlled. The variable that has the biggest contribution in causing out-of-control observations is the pH variable. The capability with the MPp index value indicates that the multivariate process performance has good precision, while the MPpk index value indicates that the process performance has low accuracy. Therefore, it can be concluded that the performance of the shrimp farming water production process is still not capable.
