Abstract
Blockchain adalah inovasi disruptif yang terkini, yang mana mendasari mata uang crypto. Munculnya mata uang kripto (Cryptocurrency) dinilai sebagai solusi untuk permasalahan inflasi yang menimpa Fiat Money. Akan tetapi, permasalahan pada protocol yang telah ada yaitu terdapat celah pada mekanisme protocol jaringan Blockchain yang memicu volatilitas yang ekstrem dan skalabilitas ynag kecil. Tesis ini bertujuan menganalisa dan mendesain pengembangan protokol Blockchain berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya, guna memperoleh sistem pembayaran kripto yang dapat meningkatkan skalabilitas jaringan dan keamanan dari dampak inflasi maupun pemalsuan transaksi. Usulan model protokol ini dinamai dengan Hybrid Lightning Protocol. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM), yang mana tersusun dari identifikasi masalah, menentukan tujuan, perancangan & pengembangan, evaluasi, dan publikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu sebuah rancangan model protokol pembayaran kripto yang aman, sehingga mampu memanajemen inflasi dan keamanan data transaksi. Nilai tambah dari penelitian ini yaitu peneliti mengklaim mampu mencapai throughput maksimum sekitar 1.668.000 transaksi / detik.

Blockchain is the latest disruptive innovation, which is the technology that
underlies cryptocurrencies and other digital currencies. The emergence of
cryptocurrencies (Cryptocurrencies) is considered a solution to the inflation
problem that befell Fiat Money. However, the problem with existing protocols is
that there is a gap in the Blockchain network protocol mechanism that triggers
extreme volatility and small scalability. This thesis aims to analyze and design
Blockchain protocol development based on previous research, in order to obtain a
crypto payment system that can improve network scalability and security from the
impact of inflation and transaction counterfeiting. The proposed model of this
protocol is called the Hybrid Lightning Protocol. The research methodology used
is Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM), which consists of problem
identification, goal setting, design & development, evaluation, and publication. The
results of this study are a design of a secure crypto payment protocol model, so as
to be able to manage inflation and transaction data security. The added value of
this research is that the researcher claims to be able to achieve a maximum
throughput of around 834,000 transactions/second.
