Abstract
Sistem komunikasi cahaya merupakan komunikasi yang menggunakan cahaya sebagai media transmisinya pada jarak jauh maupun pada jarak dekat. Pada penelitian ini digunakan laser dioda hijau sebagai media transmisi suara dan media variasi kekeruhan air yang terbuat dari methylene blue. Komponen utama yang digunakan pada penelitian yaitu laser pointer, fotodioda dan IC CD4046. Data yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini yaitu tegangan output yang dihasilkan oleh fotodioda, intensitas cahaya dan frekuensi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media variasi kekeruhan air berpengaruh terhadap intensitas cahaya yang dihasilkan yaitu variasi kekeruhan air berbanding terbalik dengan intensitas cahaya yang dihasilkan. Media variasi kekeruhan air tidak berpengaruh terhadap frekuensi output, namun berpengaruh terhadap bentuk sinyal

The light communication system is a communication that using light as a medium of transmission at long distances as well as at short distances. In this study, a green diode laser was used as a sound transmission medium and a medium for variations in water turbidity made of methylene blue. The main components used in this research are laser pointer, photodiode and IC CD4046. The data obtained in this study are the output voltage produced by the photodiode, light intensity and frequency. The results of this study indicate that the media variation of water turbidity affects the. The intensity of the light produced is the turbidity of the water inversely proportional to the intensity of the light produced. The turbidity of the water media has no effect on the output frequency, but does affect the shape of the signal.
