Abstract

Berdasarkan Global Creativity Index tahun 2015, Indonesia menduduki peringkat ke-113 dari 139 negara. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak adalah melatih sejak usia dini terutama pada usia golden age. Bermain adalah salah satu cara bagi anak untuk mengenal tentang dunia, bermain selama masa kanak-kanak memiliki peran efektif dalam belajar dan mengambangkan kreativitas. Bermain peran adalah salah satu jenis permainan yang biasa dilakukan pada anak usia prasekolah. Bermain peran dapat mengembangkan kemampuan kognisi, memahami orang lain dan memiliki kemampuan intrapersonal. Salah satu pembelajaran PAUD kurikulum 2013 adalah pembelajaran tematik. Sejauh ini, perkembangan dan pengeksplorasian dalam desain mainan edukasi bermain peran di Indonesia masih terbatas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat desain mainan edukasi bermain peran multi tematik untuk anak pra sekolah 4-6 tahun agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan anak dalam mengembangkan kreativitas dan perkembangan motoriknya sambil bermain. Penelitian diharapkan dapat memudahkan orang tua dalam mengajari anak untuk membereskan mainannya setelah bermain.

Based on the 2015 Global Creativity Index, Indonesia ranking 113th out of 139
countries. One way to increase children's creativity is to train from an early age,
especially at the golden age. Playing is a way for children to get to know the world,
play during childhood has an effective role in learning and developing creativity.
Pretend play is one type of game that is commonly done in preschool children. Pretend
play can develop cognitive abilities, understand others and have intrapersonal
abilities. One of the PAUD lessons in the 2013 curriculum is thematic learning. So
far, the development and exploration in the design of role-playing educational toys in
Indonesia is still limited. The purpose of this research is to design a multi thematic
pretend play educational toy for pre-school children 4-6 years of age in order to fulfill
children's needs in developing creativity and motor development while playing. In
addition, research is expected to facilitate parents in teaching children to tidy up their
toys after playing. From the research results obtained data that users need
educational toys and can encourage children to tidy up their own toys and toys with
simple mechanisms that can train their motor skills and creativity.
