Abstract
Dalam rangka pelaksanaan Penerimaan Peserta Didik
Baru (PPDB) tingkat SMA/SMK Provinsi Jawa Timur tahun
ajaran 2021/2022, tim dari Departemen Teknik Informatika ITS
bekerja sama dengan Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Timur
menyusun sebuah aplikasi berbasis web, yaitu Aplikasi PPDB
yang merupakan aplikasi untuk memanajemen penerimaan
peserta didik baru SMA/SMK negeri di Jawa Timur, yang dibangun dengan framework CodeIgniter dan sistem basis data MariaDB. Sistem ini memfasilitasi tiga jenis pengguna, antara lain operator dinas, operator sekolah, dan pendaftar. Aplikasi PPDB ini diharapkan dapat menjadikan kegiatan pendaftaran peserta didik baru lebih praktis, mudah, dan lancar bagi seluruh pengguna.

In order to support the New Students Admission Program on the level of Senior/Vocational High School in East Java Province academic year 2021/2022, the team from ITS Department of Informatics collaborated with the Department of Education of East Java Province in creating a web-based application, that is New Students Admission Program (PPDB) Application, which is an application to manage the admission of new senior/vocational high school students in East Java, built with CodeIgniter framework and MariaDB database. This system facilitates three kinds of users, which are the operator from Department of Education, school operator, and registrant. This application is expected to make the new students registration process more practical, easier, and faster for all users.
