Abstract
Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Riau ingin membangun sistem guna memudahkan aktivitas penerimaan peserta didik baru di tingkat sekolah Menengah Atas dan sekolah Menengah Kejuruan yang berupa aplikasi website. Untuk ini Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Riau bekerja sama dengan Departemen Teknik Informatika ITS untuk membuat aplikasi website tersebut.
Website ini merupakan tempat yang menyediakan layanan pendataan dan pendaftaran calon peserta didik serta tempat penyampaian informasi seputar kegiatann PPDB. Website ini tentunya memudahkan administrasi untuk melakukan pendaftaran secara online tanpa harus ke sekolah terdekat untuk aktivitas PPDB.
Aplikasi ini dibuat dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman web seperti PHP, Javascript, HTML, dan CSS dengan menggunakan DBMS MySQL Server. Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah alur kegiatan PPDB dan kegiatan administrasinya.

The Riau Provincial Education Office wants to build a system to facilitate the activity of accepting new students at the high school and vocational high school level in the form of a website application. For this, the Riau Provincial Education Office collaborates with the ITS Informatics Engineering Department to create the website application.
This website is a place that provides data collection and registration services for prospective students as well as a place for delivering information about PPDB activities. This website certainly makes it easier for administration to register online without having to go to the nearest school for PPDB activities.
This application is made using web programming languages such as PHP, Javascript, HTML, and CSS using the DBMS MySQL Server. This application is expected to facilitate the flow of PPDB activities and administrative activities.
