Abstract

Direktorat Pengembangan Teknologi dan Sistem Informasi (DPTSI), merupakan sebuah unit yang bertugas untuk menyediakan dan mengelola layanan Teknologi Informasi di lingkungan ITS. DPTSI berperan untuk mendukung aktivitas akademik, penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat, serta manajerial di lingkungan ITS. Pada saat ini Subdirektorat Aplikasi dan Platform Digital yang merupakan bagian dari DPTSI sedang mengembangkan aplikasi untuk membantu proses akademik di ITS dalam ranah sidang ilmiah yang bernama myITS Thesis. myITS Thesis sendiri merupakan aplikasi berbasis web yang dibangun menggunakan teknologi Onion Architecture, dan Laravel sebagai framework. Maka dari itu pada kesempatan Kerja Praktik ini penulis bergabung di dalam tim software engineer DPTSI dalam pengembangan aplikasi myITS Thesis terutama dalam pembuatan modul Tugas Akhir. Pengembangan yang dilakukan penulis adalah penambahan fitur pengumuman, fitur pembuatan sidang, fitur penjadwalan sidang, fitur pengajuan sidang, fitur pengelolaan bimbingan, dan fitur penawaran topik tugas akhir. Penerapan fitur-fitur tersebut akan diimplementasikan untuk tiga buah role, yaitu Admin, Dosen, dan Mahasiswa.

Direktorat Pengembangan Teknologi dan Sistem Informasi (DPTSI), is a unit that works to serve and develop IT service in ITS. DPTSI supports academic activities, researches and community services, also the managerial of ITS. At this moment Subdirektorat Aplikasi dan Platform Digital that belongs to DPTSI is developing an aplication for helping the academic process in ITS named myITS Thesis. myITS Thesis is a web-based aplication that built with Onion Architecture, and Laravel as the framework. For that reason this Practical Work held as the writer joins on the DPTSI software engineer team for developing the aplication myITS Thesis especially on Tugas Akhir module. The writer developed announcement feature, thesis creation feature, scheduling feature, thesis submission feature, tutoring feature, and thesis' topic offering feature. All these features implemented with three roles which are Admin, Dosen, dan Mahasiswa.
