Abstract
Surabaya sebagai kota metropolitan terbesar kedua di
Indonesia mempunyai jumlah dan tingkat mobibtas penduduk
yang tinggi.terutama peipindalian masyarakat dari daerah
Sidoarjo, dan Lamongan -Surabaya. Komuter atau kereta yang
beroperasi pada jarak pendek mierupakan salah satu harapan
masyarakat Indonesia yang dapat membantu mengurangi tingkat
kepadatan kendaraan bermotor di Indonesia..sehingga dari bidang
transportasi umura peningkatan layanan kualitas maupun
kuantitas sarana perlu ditingkatkan .
Komuter sebagai sarana transportasi tnassal ,diniiai
kurang mempunyai fasilitas yang menunjang Pada kenyataan
dilapangan dimana masyarakat dari berbagai kaiangan yang
tnenggunakan fasilitas transportasi tnassal ini menemukan
beberapa masalah baik dari sisi kenyamanan maupun keamanan
dari liasiS penelitian serta proses desain yang ielak dilaiui maka
dapat disimpulkan vaitu menerapkan pembagian Zonning area
yaitu stand area . seat area .dan disable person area.Dan dalan
mengatasi kejenuhan ,pada desain tersebut terdapat kuisi dengan
posisi bersanaar yang merupakan inovasi desain.vang dapat
digunakan oleh orang dewasa maupun anak kecil pada project
tersebut
