Abstract

Revetment merupakan bangunan pelindung pantai yang dipasang di daratan yang berbatasan secara langsung dengan laut. Revetment berfungsi untuk menjaga kemiringan pantai dan melindungi kawasan yang ada di belakang bangunan tersebut. Interaksi hidrodinamis struktur dengan gelombang dan arus laut dapat menyebabkan berkurangnya masa pakai bangunan revetment. Masalah struktur yang dapat ditimbulkan oleh perilaku gelombang laut berbentuk rayapan (run up). Sehingga run up gelombang sangat penting dalam perencanaan sebuah bangunan pantai. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisis run up dan run down gelombang pada model fisik revetment dengan variasi tinggi gelombang, periode gelombang, dan elevasi muka air. BPPT-Lock digunakan sebagai unit lapis lindung dengan pertimbangan kekuatan struktur lebih unggul serta dapat dipasang dengan pengaturan sederhana. Dari eksperimen yang telah dilakukan, nilai run up dan run down dari ketiga variasi elevasi muka air menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi elevasi muka air maka semakin tinggi run up dan run down gelombangnya dan sebaliknya. Nilai run up dan run down gelombang pada kemiringan 1 : 2 dengan kedalaman 0.38 m setinggi 0.25 meter dan run down -0.07 meter, pada kedalaman 0.35 m setinggi 0.24 meter dan run down -0.065 meter, dan pada kedalaman 0.33 m setinggi 0.23 meter dan run down -0.065 meter. Semakin besar tinggi gelombang (H) dan periode gelombang (T) maka semakin besar pula run up dan run down gelombang yang terjadi. Nilai run up dan run down gelombang terkecil pada kedalaman 0.38 m dengan H = 0.02 m dan Tp = 2.19 detik yaitu run up setinggi 0.03 meter dan run down -0.04 meter. Sedangkan nilai run up dan run down gelombang terbesar pada H = 0.18 m dan Tp = 2.20 detik yaitu run up setinggi 0.25 meter dan run down -0.07 meter.

Revetment is a coastal protection building that installed on the land which is directly bordering to the sea. Revetment serves to maintain the slope of the beach and protect the area behind the building. The hydrodynamic interaction of the structure with the waves and ocean flow can cause a reduction usage period of the revetment building. Structural problems that can be caused by the behavior of ocean waves in the form of crawl (Run up). So that the run up waves is very important in a coastal building planning . In this study, run up and run down analysis of waves in physical modeling of the revetment was carried out with height variations of wave, wave period, and the elevation of water level. BPPT-Lock is used as a protective layer unit with consideration of superior structural strength and can be installed with simple settings. From the experiments that have been done, the values of run up and run down from the three variations of water level elevation show that the more higher the elevation of water level , more greater the values of the run up and run down of the waves and vice versa. The value of run up and run down waves at a slope of 1: 2 with an water depth of 0.38 m is 0.25 meters and a run down of -0.07 meters, at water depth 0.35 m is 0.24 meters and a run down of -0.065 meters, and at water depth 0.33 m in the amount of 0.23 meters and run down -0.065 meters. The more bigger the wave height (H) and the wave period (T) also the bigger the wave run up and run down that occurs. The smallest wave run up and run down value at water depth is 0.38 m with H = 0.02 m and Tp = 2.19 seconds, is run up of 0.03 meters and run down of -0.04 meters. While the value of run up and run down of the largest waves at H = 0.18 m and Tp = 2.20 seconds, is run up of 0.25 meters and run down of -0.07 meters.
