Abstract
Kebutuhan akan energi khususnya listrik seiring perkembangan teknologi sudah tidak dapat dipungkiri lagi, seiring berjalannya waktu meningkatnya jumlah beban akibat bertambahnya pemakaian dari sisi pelanggan merupakan sesuatu permasalahan yang harus diselesaikan salah satunya oleh PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Kuta. Sistem distribusi listrik bertegangan 20kV milik ULP Kuta kerap mendapati permasalahan seperti rugi-rugi daya serta tegangan jatuh yang terjadi sepanjang saluran. Oleh karena itu perlunya dilakukan rekonfigurasi jaringan dan perencanaan saluran baru pada sistem distribusi untuk menangani masalah rugi-rugi daya yang ada. Pada tugas akhir ini, akan dilakukan rekonfigurasi sistem jaringan distribusi pada sisi 20kV ULP Kuta dengan menggunakan metode Binary Particle Swarm Optimization yang ditujukan untuk mengurangi rugi-rugi daya pada jaringan distribusinya. Analisis aliran daya dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode newton-raphson yang terdapat pada plugin Matpower 7.1. Dari simulasi yang sudah dijalankan, sebelum dilakukannya rekonfigurasi didapatkan hasil berupa rugi daya sebesar 44,283kW dan 13,187kVAR pada saat kondisi luar waktu beban puncak, sedangkan sebesar 51,087kW dan 14,711kVAR pada kondisi waktu beban puncak. Setelah dilakukan rekonfigurasi jaringan rugi daya aktif dan reaktif mengalami penurunan menjadi 27,489kW dan 10,64kVAR untuk luar waktu beban puncak, 31,21kW dan 13,654kVAR untuk waktu beban puncak.

The need of energy, especially electricity along with technological developments is undeniable. As a time goes by, the increasing number of loads due to increased usage from the customer side is a problem that must be resolved, one of them by PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Kuta. The 20kV electricity distribution system belonging to ULP Kuta often encounters problems such as power losses and voltage drops that occur along the line. Therefore, it is necessary to reconfigure the network and plan new channels in the distribution system to solve the existing power losses problem. In this final project, will be reconfigured the distribution network system on the 20kV ULP Kuta side by using the Binary Particle Swarm Optimization method which is intended to reduce power losses in the distribution network. Power flow analysis was carried out using the newton-raphson method found in the Matpower 7.1 plugin. From the simulation that has been conducted, before the reconfiguration the results obtained in a power loss form of 44,283kW and 13.187kVAR during the usage offpeak load conditions , while 51.087kW and 14.711kVAR at usage peak load time conditions. After reconfiguring the network, the active and reactive power losses decreased to 27.489kW and 10.64kVAR for usage offpeak load time, 31.21kW and 13.654kVAR for usage peak load time.
