Abstract

Salah satu unsur penting dari pendidikan adalah membaca. Kemampuan membaca merupakan suatu hal yang vital dalam suatu lingkungan masyarakat terpelajar. Kepulauan Seribu adalah salah satu wilayah dengan sarana dan prasarana untuk membaca yang terbatas akibat penyebaran bahan bacaan yang tidak merata, sarana transportasi antar pulau yang kurang memadai, serta lahan tidur yang dapat dibangun untuk fasilitas pendidikan sangat minim. Ketiadaan ataupun keterbatasan jaringan internet juga dapat mengakibatkan terbatasnya keterhubungan suatu daerah dengan daerah lainnya. Apalagi bagi daerah yang tergolong pinggiran seperti pedesaan dan kepulauan, termasuk wilayah Kepulauan Seribu yang terpisah dari daratan Jakarta. Program komunikasi pariwisata juga sudah harus menyasar generasi muda agar mereka tertarik dan dapat berpartisipasi aktif dalam pengembangan pariwisata Kepulauan Seribu. Maka, pada Tugas Akhir ini dilakukan desain coworking space and library catamaran yang diharapkan dapat menjadi opsi untuk meningkatkan kemajuan infrastruktur pendidikan dan meningkatkan minat baca serta diskusi di daerah Kepulauan Seribu. Kapal yang didesain dengan ukuran utama Panjang (Loa): 55.19 m; Lebar (B): 22 m; Tinggi (H): 6.3 m; Sarat (T): 3.5 m; Kecepatan (Vs): 10 Knot. Kapal akan berlayar di daerah Kepulauan Seribu. Jadwal operasional kapal sendiri akan memiliki tiga opsi skenario, yaitu skenario Zona 1, skenario Zona 2, dan skenario Zona 3. Skenario tersebut dibedakan berdasarkan daerah pelayaran, jam operasional, dan waktu lama pelayaran. Analisis teknis yang dilakukan meliputi perhitungan berat, perhitungan stabilitas, perhitungan trim, dan perhitungan freeboard. Hasil perhitungan tersebut kemudian digunakan untuk mendesain Linesplan, General Arrangement, Safety Plan, dan Model 3D. Perhitungan biaya pembangunan kapal dilakukan dan didapatkan biaya sebesar Rp67.202.403.432. Serta dilakukan perhitungan biaya operasional kapal dan didapatkan biaya sebesar Rp5.600.229.808 per tahun.

One of the important elements of education is reading. The ability to read is a vital thing in an
educated society. The Seribu Islands is one of the areas with limited facilities and infrastructure
for reading due to the uneven distribution of reading materials, inadequate inter-island
transportation facilities, and minimal land that can be built for educational facilities. The
absence or limitation of the internet network can also result in limited connectivity from one
area to another. Especially for areas that were classified as periphery, such as villages and
islands, including the Seribu Islands Regency which was separated from mainland Jakarta. The
tourism communication program must also target the younger generation so that they were
interested and can actively participate in the development of tourism in the Seribu Islands. So,
in this Final Project, a design of a coworking space and library catamaran was expected to be
an option to improve the progress of educational infrastructure and increase interest in reading
and discussion in the Seribu Islands Regency. Ships designed with main dimensions Length
(Loa): 55.19 m; Width (B): 22 m; Height (H): 6.3 m; Draft (T): 3.5 m; Speed (Vs): 10 Knots.
The ship will sail in the Seribu Islands Regency. The ship's operational schedule itself will have
three scenario options, namely Zone 1 scenario, Zone 2 scenario, and Zone 3 scenario.
Technical analysis which was conducted, involve ship’s weight calculation, stability, trim
calculation, and freeboard calculation. The results of these calculations are then used to design
the Linesplan, General Arrangement, Safety Plan, and 3D Model. Calculation of the cost of
building the ship was carried out and obtained a cost of Rp67,202,403,432. As well as
calculating the operational costs of the ship and obtained a cost of Rp5,600,229,808 per year.
