Abstract

According to data from the 2019 Ministry of Transportation Statistics Book, the number of national shipping fleets or ships in the country from 2015-2019 has doubled. However, from the potential of the current operating fleet, it shows that more than 75% of the fleet are over 20 years old. With such conditions, it is necessary to plan for ship maintenance and repairs to be as good as possible and to spend as little time as possible. The main purpose of this final project is to design a web-based intermediary application for ship repair planning services that can be accessed by using a website browser through the internet connection. The initial stage is to observe the condition of ship repair and planning from shipyard and shipowner perspectives through the literature and field study. From the result of the observation, the authors analyze what problems occur in the field and then arrange what functions or features are needed to be included in the design of the application to solve these problems. Application design is done by making mock-ups, designing interfaces, creating databases, and coding the application system. Then, the application is tested and verified to find out that the application can run as intended and know the strengths and weaknesses of the application. The features in this application are designed to intermediary shipyard and shipowner in the ship repair planning process. By using this application, ship owners can search for docking space in available shipyards according to the schedule and place desired by the shipowner. In addition, by using this application, the shipowner can find out when the ship's certificate expires so that they can prepare a schedule for conducting a survey. Then when the ship repair process is in progress, both the shipyard and the shipowner can use this application to monitor and report on the progress of ship repair work. ===================================================================================================
Menurut data Buku Statistik Kementerian Perhubungan 2019, jumlah armada atau kapal pelayaran nasional di Tanah Air sejak 2015-2019 meningkat dua kali lipat. Namun dari potensi armada yang beroperasi saat ini, menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 75% armada berusia di atas 20 tahun. Dengan kondisi seperti itu, maka perlu direncanakan perawatan dan perbaikan kapal dengan sebaik mungkin dan menghabiskan waktu sesedikit mungkin. Tujuan utama dari tugas akhir ini adalah merancang aplikasi perantara berbasis web untuk jasa perencanaan perbaikan kapal yang dapat diakses dengan menggunakan web browser melalui koneksi internet. Tahap awal adalah mengamati kondisi perbaikan dan perencanaan kapal dari perspektif galangan dan pemilik kapal melalui studi literatur dan lapangan. Dari hasil observasi, penulis menganalisis permasalahan apa saja yang terjadi di lapangan kemudian menyusun fungsi atau fitur apa saja yang dibutuhkan untuk dimasukkan dalam perancangan aplikasi untuk dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Perancangan aplikasi dilakukan dengan pembuatan mock-up, perancangan interface, pembuatan database dan pengkodean sistem aplikasi. Kemudian, aplikasi diuji dan diverifikasi untuk mengetahui bahwa aplikasi dapat berjalan sebagaimana dimaksud dan mengetahui kekuatan dan kelemahan aplikasi. Fitur-fitur dalam aplikasi ini dirancang untuk menjadi perantara galangan dan pemilik kapal dalam proses perencanaan perbaikan kapal. Dengan menggunakan aplikasi ini, pemilik kapal dapat mencari tempat berlabuh di galangan yang tersedia sesuai dengan jadwal dan tempat yang diinginkan oleh pemilik kapal. Selain itu dengan menggunakan aplikasi ini pemilik kapal dapat mengetahui kapan masa berlaku sertifikat kapal sehingga dapat mempersiapkan jadwal untuk melakukan survey. Kemudian ketika proses perbaikan kapal sedang berlangsung, baik galangan kapal maupun pemilik kapal dapat menggunakan aplikasi ini untuk memantau dan melaporkan kemajuan pekerjaan perbaikan kapal.
