Abstract
Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam Proyek Akhir ini dilatar belakangi oleh permintaan dari suatu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang industri fabrikasi yaitu PT. Semen Indonesia Logistik – Gresik, yang menginginkan penambahan kapasitas mesin reclaim feeder semula 1500 TPH menjadi 2000 TPH yang digunakan untuk mentransfer batu bara dari stockpile menuju proses produksi. Dengan adanya penambahan kapasitas dari 1500 TPH menjadi 2000 TPH, komponen drive unit (unit penggerak) pada mesin reclaim feeder perlu ditentukan kembali, sehingga dapat mendukung tercapainya target produksi yang sudah ditentukan.
Oleh karena itu, penulis bertujuan untuk merancang komponen drive unit pada mesin reclaim feeder dari kapasitas 1500 TPH menjadi 2000 TPH yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan perusahaan tersebut. Komponen yang akan dirancang diantaranya motor listrik, kopling, gearbox, poros, pasak, dan bearing.
Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu dalam bentuk suatu rekomendasi desain dari drive unit dengan daya motor listrik 110 kW. Daya motor listrik ini dapat memenuhi kapasitas 2000 TPH.

The problems raised in this final project were motivated by a request from a company engaged in the fabrication industry, namely PT. Semen Indonesia Logistik – Gresik, who wants to increase the capacity of the machine from reclaim feeder 1500 TPH to 2000 TPH which is used to transfer coal from the stockpile to the production process. With the addition of capacity from 1500 TPH to 2000 TPH, the component of drive unit the machine reclaim feeder needs to be redefind, so that it can support the achievement of the predetermined production target.
Therefore, the author aims to design a component drive unit on the machine reclaim feeder from a capacity of 1500 TPH to 2000 TPH which can meet the needs of the company. The components to be designed include electric motors, clutches, gearboxes, shafts, pegs, bearings.
The results obtained are in the form of a design recommendation of a drive unit with an electric motor of 110 kW. The power of this electric motor can meet the capacity of 2000 TPH.
