Abstract
Beban kerja pegawai pada jaringan dan gardu induk (jarGI) di PT PLN (Persero) sudah melampaui job description atau Key Performance Indicator (KPI) yang ditetapkan oleh Kantor Pusat PLN. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui beban kerja karyawan jarGI saat ini menggunakan metode Full Time Equivalent (FTE) untuk menilai beban kerja fisik dan metode Rating Scale Mental Effort (RSME) untuk menilai beban kerja mental. Implementasi metode FTE dengan Stopwatch Time Study dilakukan di beberapa lokasi (gardu induk), sedangkan pengukuran teknis metode RSME menggunakan kuesioner yang ditujukan untuk seluruh pegawai seksi jarGI. Beban kerja normal adalah waktu yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaan yang sama dari jam kerja yang tersedia atau volume pekerjaan yang sama dengan kemampuan pekerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata beban kerja pegawai pada seksi jarGI memiliki Indeks FTE 1-1,28, dan 13 jarGI (dari 43 seksi jarGI) dalam kategori overload. Namun, berdasarkan metode RSME, beban kerja rata-rata dikategorikan sebagai "usaha yang dilakukan cukup besar"

The workload of employees on the network and substations (jarGI) at PT PLN (Persero) has exceeded the job description or Key Performance Indicators (KPI) set by the PLN Head Office. This study aims to determine the current workload of jarGI employees using the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) method to assess physical workload and the Mental Effort Rating Scale (RSME) method to assess mental workload. The implementation of the FTE method with the Stopwatch Time Study was carried out in several locations (substations), while the technical measurement of the RSME method used a questionnaire aimed at all employees of the jarGI section. Normal workload is the time used to complete the same work from the available working hours or the same volume of work as the worker's ability. The results showed that the average workload of employees in the jarGI section had an FTE index of 1-1.28, and 13 jarGI (out of 43 jarGI sections) in the overload category. However, based on the RSME method, the average workload is categorized as "large amount of work done".
