Abstract

Pengujian test bench di PT.PAL menggunakan Pompa CW (Cool Water) APE Pumps, beroperasi sejak tahun 1983 sampai sekarang. Pompa CW berfungsi untuk memompakan air dari Cooling tower menuju Oil Cooling, Water Cooling, Fuel Cooling dan Raw Water Tank. Sebagai media pendingin dan pembebanan pada uji Test Bench. Namun dari hasil observasi dilapangan, 2 pompa gabungan CW tidak mampu menyuplai kebutuhan Test Bench pada beban maksimal. Sehingga perlu dilakukan evaluasi pemilihan pompa baru yang dapat menyuplai kebutuhan Test Bench pada beban maksimal menggunakan 2 pompa gabungan. Pada perhitungan Analisa intstalasi complex circuit pompa CW didapatkan Head Efektif sebesar 13,138 m dengan kapasitas beban sistim maksimal sebesar 304 m3/jam. Dari hasil perhitungan dan Analisa grafik complex circuit pompa CW dipilih pompa Ebara End Suction Volut Pump (FS4JCA), diameter impeller pompa 258mm, Daya = 8 kW dan Rpm = 1450 dengan titik optimum terhadap beban maksimum test bench sebesar,kapasitas = 327 m3/jam dan Head = 14m.

Test bench testing at PT.PAL using APE Pumps CW (Cool Water) Pumps, operating since 1983 until now. The CW pump functions to pump water from the Cooling tower to Oil Cooling, Water Cooling, Fuel Cooling and Raw Water Tanks. As a cooling medium and loading on the Test Bench test. However, from the results of field observations, the 2 combined CW pumps are not able to supply the needs of the Test Bench at maximum load. So it is necessary to evaluate the selection of a new pump that can supply the needs of the Test Bench at a maximum load using 2 combined pumps. In the calculation of the complex circuit analysis of the CW pump, it was found that the Effective Head was 13,138 m with a maximum system load capacity of 304 m3/hour. From the calculation results and graphical analysis of the complex circuit of the CW pump, the Ebara End Suction Volut Pump (FS4JCA) pump, the pump impeller diameter is 258mm, Power = 8 kW and Rpm = 1450 with the optimum point for the maximum load of the test bench, capacity = 327 m3/hour and Head = 14m.
