Abstract

PT.

PT. X is one of the logistic companies. Activities at PT. X is distributing fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) from DC (warehouse) to stock points, supermarkets, convenience stores, and stores. Delivery to stock points is done regularly every week to maintain the availability of stock at the Stock Point. Inventory system policy at PT. X uses a product classification policy that classifies products into 3 classifications: fast-moving, medium-moving, slow-moving based on a product sales level, and Min-Max Stock policy that regulates what is the minimum and the maximum number of products stored at the Stock Point. In its implementation, the Min-Max Stock policy is still not based on a strong reason about how much Min-Max Stock values on each product in the stock point. Therefore, further studies need to be conducted regarding the value of Min-Max Stock on each product in the stock point. This research aims to find out the value of Min-Max Stock on each product stored in the Stock Point using the Monte Carlo simulation method, so that it can be recommended how much min - Max stock value on each product in the Stock Point.
