Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 menjadikan ekonomi global turun, baik dari segi perdagangan internasional, market, serta perilaku masyarakat, tak terkecuali biaya material dan peralatan pada pembangunan kapal. Hal ini menimbulkan terjadinya perubahan biaya, baik biaya material maupun biaya peralatan pembangunan kapal. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh fluktuasi nilai tukar mata uang asing terhadap rupiah selama masa pandemi Covid-19 serta pengaruhnya dalam biaya pembangunan kapal. Nilai tukar yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Dollar Amerika (USD), Singapore Dollar (SGD), Euro dan Japanese Yen (JPY) pada rentang 2018 sampai 2021. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari penelitian ini, selama pandemi Covid-19 menyerang dunia terjadi kenaikan nilai mata uang asing terhadap rupiah pada rentang Maret sampai April 2020 yaitu 15.37% USD terhadap rupiah, 12.38% SGD terhadap rupiah, 13.84% Euro terhdap rupiah, dan 15.59% JPY terhadap rupiah. Jika kontrak pembangunan kapal dilakukan sebelum pandemi dan proses produksi dilakukan selama pandemi Covid-19, proses pembangunan kapal diperkirakan mengalami kerugian pada pembelian material dan peralatan pembangunan kapal sebesar 8% dari biaya pembangunan kapal atau sebesar Rp4.365.750.700,00.

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought down the global economy, both in terms of international trade, markets, and people's behavior, the cost of materials and equipment for shipbuilding. This causes changes in costs, both material costs and shipbuilding equipment costs. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the effect of fluctuations in the foreign exchange rate against the rupiah during the Covid-19 pandemic and its effect on ship costs. The exchange rates used in this study are the US Dollar (USD), Singapore Dollar (SGD), Euro and Japanese Yen (JPY) in the range 2018 to 2021. Based on the analysis results from this study, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the world experienced an increase in the value foreign currencies against the rupiah in the March to April 2020 range, namely 15.37% USD against the rupiah, 12.38% SGD against the rupiah, 13.84% euros against the rupiah, and 15.59% JPY against the rupiah. If the shipbuilding contract was carried out before the pandemic and the production process was carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic, the shipbuilding process is estimated to suffer a loss of 8% of shipbuilding and construction equipment costs or Rp4,365,750,700.00.
