Abstract

Literasi finansial merupakan suatu hal yang seharusnya menjadi kebutuhan dasar tiap-tiap individu atau masyarakat dalam mengelola keuangan. Krisis finansial yang melanda Indonesia saat ini menuntut masyarakat Indonesia khususnya generasi mudasebagai pemegang tongkat estafet negara di masa depan agar mampu menciptakan perekonomian negara yang lebih stabil. Berdasarkan fakta di lapangan, banyak generasi muda tidak mempunyai literasi finansial yang baik. Untuk itulah dirancanglah sebuah video animasi eksplainer literasi finansial untuk milenial usia 18-25 Tahun dengan strategi dan media yang sesuai dengan preferensi audiens.
Perancangan media edukasi interaktif ini disusun dengan beberapa metode. Data-data terkait dengan objek dan subjek penelitian didapatkan melalui studi literatur dan studi eksisting. Selain itu dilakukan juga pengumpulan data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data kualitatif didapatkan dengan melakukan wawancara terhadap stakeholder dan ahli animasi. Sedangkan data kuantitatif dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. Dari data yang telah didapatkkan selanjutnya dilakukan identifikasi objek masalah yang akan dianalisis untuk menentukan subjek desain sebagai solusi strategis. Tahap terakhir adalah proses testing dan evaluasi untuk memastikan agar desain layak diedarkan.
Pesan utama akan disajikan dalam bentuk serial video animasi eksplainer yang akan diunggah ke Youtube dan Instagram, serta media pendukung lainnya seperti konten media sosial. Setelah konsep visual diselesaikan, selanjutnya akan ditempatkan dalam strategi dan tenggat waktu tertentu. Perancangan video animasi eksplainer tentang literasi finansial yang mengusung konsep “EaZY & Fund” diharapkan dapat mengajak target audiens agar mampu melakukan perencanaan keuangan secara lebih baik serta aware dengan isu keuangan. Dalam jangka panjang, perancangan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan tingkat literasi finansial milenial Indonesia.

Financial literacy is something that should be a basic need of every individual or society in managing finances. The current financial crisis hitting Indonesia demands that the Indonesian people, especially the younger generation, as holders of the state baton in the future, are able to create a more stable state economy. Based on facts in the field, many young people do not have good financial literacy. For this reason, an interactive educational media was designed as a means of learning financial literacy for millennials aged 18-25 years with the aim that millennials can plan their finances according to their needs.
The design of this interactive educational media is compiled by several methods. Data related to the object and research subject were obtained through literature studies and existing studies. In addition, qualitative and quantitative data were collected. Qualitative data were obtained by conducting interviews with stakeholders and animation experts. Meanwhile, quantitative data were collected by distributing questionnaires. From the data that has been obtained, then the problem object will be identified to be analyzed to determine the design subject as a strategic solution. The final stage is the testing and evaluation process to ensure that the design is fit for circulation.
The main message will be presented in the form of an explainer animated video series which will be uploaded to Youtube and Instagram, as well as other supporting media such as social media content. After the visual concept is finalized, then it will be placed in a specific strategy and deadline. The designing of an animated video explorer on financial literacy that carries the concept of “EaZY & Fund” is expected to invite the target audience to be able to do financial planning better and to be aware of financial issues. In the long term, this design is expected to increase the level of financial literacy of Indonesian millennials.
