Abstract

Menurut data dari Kompas, Indonesia memiliki beberapa kasus kriminal yang belum terpecahkan, salah satunya adalah pembunuhan aktvis HAM Munir. Menurut Nugroho Notosusanto, mempelajari sejarah mempunyai beberapa manfaat yang penting salah satunya adalah membangun rasa nasionalisme. Namun, Generasi Z pada saat kasus Munir terjadi masih termasuk dalam kelompok usia anak-anak. Oleh karena itu, penting memperkenalkan kasus Munir yang merupakan bagian dari sejarah bangsa kepada Generasi Z. Saat ini, media video ekspaliner tentang kasus Munir yang ada di Youtube masih menargetkan audiens Generasi Y.
Perancangan video eksplainer ini disusun dengan beberapa metode. Pada tahap studi eksperimental I dibuat naskah verbal, kemudian naskah tersebut menjadi dasar untuk merancang storyboard serta aset ilustrasi berupa aset karakter, environment, dan properti pada tahap studi eksperimental II. Kemudian dilakukan prototyping kepada calon audiens untuk mendapatkan hasil evaluasi pada tahap user test I sebagai landasan untuk final desain video. Setelah final video selesai, dilakukan lagi user test kepada target audiens untuk menguji kelayakan video untuk dipublikasikan.
Video eksplainer yang dirancang menggunakan alur maju yang menceritakan kasus Munir secara kronologis dengan ending tipe cliffhanger. Dalam aspek visual, aset ilustrasi menggunakan gaya bitmap dan semi realis dengan menggunakan warna-warna terang (vibrant) dan pemilihan typeface sans serif. Gaya Bahasa yang digunakan pada video menggunakan gaya Bahasa formal. Pesan utama dari video eksplainer adalah “The Puzzle Story” yang menganalogikan kasus Munir sebagai sebuah puzzle yang kehilangan kepingannya sehingga tidak dapat diselesaikan.

According to data from Kompas, Indonesia has several unsolved criminal cases, one of which is the murder of human rights activist Munir. According to Nugroho Notosusanto, studying history has several important benefits, one of which is building a sense of nationalism. However, Generation Z at the time Munir's case occurred was still in the age group of children. Therefore, it is important to introduce Munir's case, which is part of the nation's history to Generation Z. Currently, explainer videos about Munir's case on Youtube are still targeting Generation Y's audience.
The design of this explanatory video is composed of several methods. At the experimental study stage I was made a verbal script, then the script became the basis for designing storyboards and illustration assets in the form of character assets, environment, and property in the experimental study stage II. Then prototyping is carried out to the prospective audience to get the evaluation results at the user test stage I as the basis for the final video design. After the final video is complete, another user test is carried out to the target audience to test the feasibility of the video for publication.
An explanatory video designed using a forward plot that tells the Munir case chronologically with a cliffhanger type ending. In the visual aspect, the illustration assets use a bitmap and semi-realist style by using bright colors (vibrant) and selecting a sans serif typeface. The language style used in the video uses a formal language style. The main message of the explainer's video is “The Puzzle Story” which makes the analogy of Munir's case as a puzzle that has lost its pieces so that it cannot be solved.
