Abstract

Semakin berkembangnya infrastruktur jalan di pulau jawa, terutama dengan adanya pembangunan Tol Trans Jawa yang ditargetkan akan rampung pada 2020 memicu kemajuan dibidang transportasi. Tren kenaikan kebutuhan akan Bus Antar Kota Antar Provinsi menjadi pondasi hadirnya bus terbaru dengan pelayanan yang semakin memuaskan konsumen. di pulau Jawa rute Surabaya – Jakarta menjadi rute transportasi jarak jauh yang paling ramai. Hal ini dikarenakan menghubungkan dua kota besar di pulau jawa. Kebutuhan atas rute bus AKAP ini juga harus diiringi kenyamanan penumpang yang akan menempuh perjalanan dengan total waktu kurang lebih 10 jam. Ruang kabin dengan konfigurasi kursi Sleeper sangat berpotensi untuk berkembang di rute ini. Penggunaan Bus Double Decker menjadi jawaban atas banyaknya ruang yang dibutuhkan untuk dapat mengakomodir Bus Sleeper Class. Dengan kelas yang mewah ini penumpang dapat dimanjakan dengan fasilitas yang ada di dalam kabin. Selain itu pemilihan material interior, dan chassis kendaraan menjadi penting dalam mewujudkan kenyamanan penumpang.

The development of road infrastructure on the island of Java, especially with the construction of the Trans Java toll road which is targeted to be completed in 2020, has triggered progress in the transportation sector. The trend of increasing demand for intercity and interprovincial buses is the foundation for the presence of the newest buses with services that are increasingly satisfying to consumers. On the island of Java, the Surabaya - Jakarta route is the busiest long-distance transportation route. This is because it connects two major cities on the island of Java. The need for this AKAP bus route must also be accompanied by the comfort of passengers who will travel with a total time of approximately 10 hours. Cabin space with a Sleeper seat configuration has the potential to develop on this route. The use of the Double Decker Bus is the answer to the amount of space needed to accommodate the Sleeper Class Bus. With this luxurious class, passengers can be pampered with the facilities in the cabin. In addition, the choice of interior materials and vehicle chassis is important in realizing passenger comfort.
