Abstract

Telah dilakukan rancang bangun turbin angin berbasis Wind-Lens dengan variasi panjang diffuser untuk meningkatkan daya output dan koefisien power Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Bayu (PLTB). Bahan yang digunakan untuk pembuatan Wind-Lens Turbine adalah alumunium dengan ketebalan 8 mm, diameternya adalah 40 cm dengan variasi panjang diffuser yaitu 0 cm, 8,8 cm, 15,6 cm, dan 24,8 cm. Variasi kecepatan angin, 3m/s, 4m/s, 5m/s, dan 6m/s. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh variasi diffuser dengan panjang 24,8 cm merupakan variasi diffuser paling optimal pada kecepatan angin 6 m/s dengan daya keluaran (6,109 ± 0,1) Watt, koefisien power (51,2 ± 1,8) %, torsi (0,032 ± 0,0001) N.m, dan nilai kecepatan putaran (1796 ± 29,3) rpm.

Wind-Lens-based wind turbine design has been
designed with variations in diffuser length to increase output
power and power coefficient of Bayu Power Plant (PLTB). The
material used for the manufacture of Wind-Lens Turbine is
aluminum with a thickness of 8 mm, the diameter is 40 cm with
variations in diffuser length of 0 cm, 8.8 cm, 15.6 cm, and 24.8
cm. Variations in wind speeds, 3m/s, 4m/s, 5m/s, and 6m/s. The
results of this study obtained diffuser variation with a length of
24.8 cm is the most optimal diffuser variation at wind speed of
6 m / s with an output power of (6,109 ± 0,1) Watts, power
coefficient of (51,2 ± 1,8) %, torque of (0,032 ± 0,0001) N.m,
and a lap speed value of (1796 ± 29,3) rpm.
