Abstract

Perawatan pesawat merupakan salah satu aktivitas yang penting untuk mendukung operasional penerbangan. Tujuan dari perawatan sendiri untuk menjaga airworthiness dari pesawat tersebut. PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang Maintenance, Repair dan Overhaul (MRO) pesawat. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan mempunyai Service Level Agreement (SLA) dengan pemilik pesawat untuk melaksanakan perawatan on time dan tidak terdapat delay operasional. Pada tahun 2019, terjadi lebih dari 500 delay penerbangan dan 17 event disebabkan oleh faktor material. Setelah dilakukan analisis lebih lanjut, faktor material disebabkan adanya keterlambatan distribusi material dari Central Warehouse ke Store. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Material & Logistic Department PT XYZ. yang bertanggung jawab dalam penyimpanan dan distribusi material untuk perawatan pesawat. Fokus penelitian ini berkaitan dengan Multi-Product Vehicle Routing Problem with Multiple Trips (VRPM) dengan metode optimalisasi mixed integer programming (MIP) untuk mencari solusi yang optimal pada distribusi material perawatan pesawat. Hasil dari penelitian didapatkan 4 rute yang optimal setiap harinya dalam melakukan pengiriman berdasarkan demand material. Sehingga kebutuhan kendaraan untuk pengiriman material sebanyak 4 buah tiap harinya. Rute dan jumlah kendaraan yang optimal, maka biaya operasional dapat diefisiensikan dibanding eksisting. Biaya operasional yang optimal berkisar rata-rata Rp. 3,164,588, dan perusahaan dapat melakukan penghematan sebesar 32% dari biaya operasional existing.

Aircraft maintenance is important activity to support flight operations. Goal of aircraft maintenance to maintain aircraft airworthiness. PT XYZ is an Aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) company. Therefore, Company has a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with customer to perform maintenance on time as agreed and no delay operational. In 2019, more than 500 delays occurred, and 17 events caused by material factor. After deep analysis, material factor is caused by late material distribution from Central Warehouse to store. This research will be conducted at Material & Logistic Department PT XYZ. which responsible to keep and distribute aircraft maintenance material. The focus of research is related to Multi-Product Vehicle Routing Problem with Multiple Trips (VRPM) with the mixed integer programming (MIP) optimization method to find optimal solution for the distribution of aircraft maintenance materials. The result of the study is obtained 4 optimal routes every day in the delivery based on material demand. The number of vehicles needed for delivery is 4 vehicles per day. Obtained optimal route and number vehicles, operational costs can be more efficient compared to existing. Optimal operating cost range from an average of Rp. 3,164,588, and company can save 32% from existing operational cost.
