Abstract

Karst landscape is a landscape that is quite unique because the resulting morphology, one of themis a subsurface river. Subsurface rivers have an important role for people who live in karst areas because they have many functions, especially providing clean water, so it is very important for researchers and local residents to know the position and conserve nature around the subsurface river located in the Krawak Springs. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the pattern of subsurface rivers in the karst landscape of the Krawak Springs. The research was conducted using the Very Low Frequency¬-Electromagnetic (VLF-EM) method where this method is widely used for geophysical surveys with shallow targets, one of which is a subsurface river. The research was carried out in five tracks with four tracks along the 250 to 300 meters and one track along the 70 meters. This research is expected to be able to get the direction of the continuity and depth of the subsurface river and be a reference and additional information regarding the acquisition of Geophysics in the surrounding area. After processing the VLF-EM data quantitatively (inversion) and qualitatively (Fraser and K-Hjelt filters), the subsurface river flow pattern flows from the NorthEast-SouthWestdirection with a depth of about 0-20 meters.
