Abstract

Minyak goreng dedak padi merupakan salah satu minyak yang bukan berbahan dasar kelapa sawit yang berpotensi sebagai pengganti minyak kelapa sawit. Di Indonesia, minyak yang tidak dibuat dari kelapa sawit masih langka karena masih diimpor dari negara lain. Minyak dedak padi dihargai lebih tinggi daripada minyak paling umum seperti minyak kelapa sawit dan kelapa tetapi masih dengan harga yang wajar. Minyak harus memiliki kandungan asam lemak bebas yang rendah untuk dianggap sebagai minyak goreng. Proses produksi terdiri dari 3 proses utama yaitu pre-treatment, ekstraksi dan pemurnian. Pabrik tersebut akan dibangun di Lamongan, Jawa Timur dimana pembangunannya diperkirakan dimulai pada tahun 2026. Pabrik tersebut memiliki kapasitas 11.000 ton/tahun dengan waktu operasi 24 jam per hari dan 330 hari per tahun. Produk minyak dari pabrik ini mengandung 0,05% asam lemak bebas. Dari analisa ekonomi didapatkan harga jual minyak dedak padi sebesar 2000 US$/ton, de-oiled rice bran 85 U$/ton, sekam 50 US$/ton dan distilat asam lemak dedak padi 350 US$/ ton, IRR untuk pabrik adalah 25,23% dengan tingkat bunga 7,95%. Selain itu, waktu pembayaran pabrik dihitung pada 8 tahun 4 bulan dengan BEP sebesar 33%. Oleh karena itu, pabrik ini dianggap menguntungkan

Rice bran oil is one of the oils that is not made from oil palm that has potential to be a replacement for palm oils. In Indonesia, oils that are not made from oil palms are still scarce as they are still being imported from other countries. Rice bran oil is priced higher than most common oils such as palm and coconut oil but still at a reasonable price. Oils need to have low free fatty acid content to be considered as a cooking oil. The production process is made up of 3 main processes which are pre-treatment, extraction and refining. The plant will be constructed in Lamongan, East Java where constructed is estimated to start in 2026. The plant has a capacity of 11,000 ton/year with 24 hours of operations per day and 330 days per year. The oil produced from this plant contains 0,05% of free fatty acids. From the economy analysis, with the selling price of rice bran oil at 2000 US$/ton, de-oiled rice bran at 85 U$/ton, chaff at 50 US$/ton and rice bran fatty acid distillate at 350 US$/ton, the IRR for the plant is 25,23% with the interest rate at 7,95%. Other than that, the plant’s pay out time is calculated to be at 8 years and 4 months with the breakeven point (BEP) at 33%. Therefore, the plant is considered profitable
