Abstract

The damage to the Galileo CSD caused the contractor to stop working with Sub-contractor A and was replaced with Sub-contractor B using Julong CSD to dredge shipping lanes and fast boat pools at Bias Munjul Port. Dredging with Julong CSD was carried out from Sta. 625 to Sta. 0 and the fast boat area. Due to the replacement of dredgers, scheduling for the Julong CSD dredging activities is required to comply with the initial planning and minimize delays that affect the entire development project of the Munjul Bias Port. The Critical Path Method (CPM) method is quite often used by various projects, this method will be compared with the Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) method which is a development of the Critical Path Method. However, the CCPM method eliminates safety times from the overall duration of work and is controlled by buffer management. In this study, comparisons were made to network planning, duration and total cost of work. The buffer time calculation uses the root square mean error method (RSEM). In conducting the scheduling analysis, calculations were carried out manually and using Microsoft Project software. Obtained scheduling with the Critical Path Method (CPM) can be completed for 239 days. While the Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) method can be completed for 219 days and then added a buffer time of 12 days to 231 days for the total duration with the CCPM method. Cost calculation based on scheduling results with Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) is more efficient at Rp706,204,000
