Abstract

Copper ore is one of the natural resources in Indonesia from mining. The export value of copper ore has shown great value to the economy in Indonesia. Banyuwangi Regency has great potential in copper mining. Therefore, a private company is planning a dock as a means of exporting the proceeds from the Banyuwangi Regency. Structural failure in the design of the wharf will cause various losses. Therefore, the author wants to optimize the structure of the pier by selecting the pile group with the largest reserve strength ratio (RSR) from the iteration of the pile design configuration by conducting a Pushover analysis of the maximum capacity of the wharf structure at the copper port of PT. XYZ. Pushover analysis is carried out by increasing the load gradually until the structure collapses due to members experiencing plasticity. The results of this study from this final project, it was found that the largest reserve strength ratio of the 13 pile group designs resulting from the configuration iteration was 2,602 from pile group design 3B, the percentage increase in RSR (reserve strength ratio) from pile group design 3B compared to the initial design is 21.84%, the largest wave force that can be resisted by the structure before the structure collapses is 13,498.41 kN, and the maximum height of waves that can be resisted by the structure before the structure collapses is 95.42 m.
