Abstract

Energi listrik sangat penting peranannya dalam kehidupan manusia. Pertumbuhan penduduk 4 Kabupaten di Madura yang pesat mengakibatkan meningkatnya kebutuhan energi listrik yang tinggi pula di Madura. Pembangkit listrik yang ada umumnya menggunakan bahan bakar fosil yang merupakan bahan bakar tak terbarukan. Sehingga semakin lama jumlahnya akan menipis dan harganya semakin mahal. Oleh karena itu diperlukan adanya energi altematif yang dapat menggantikan peranan bahan bakar fosil sebagai pembangkit listrik di masa mendatang. Tiap Kabupaten di Madura memiliki energi alternatif yang merupakan energi terbarukan dengan jumlah cukup besar. Akan tetapi masih sedikit dimanfaatkan.

Energy of electricity is very importance role in human life. The high growth of residents in 4 city in Madura Island make result the high increasing requirement of electricity energy in Madura Island. Existing Power station generally use fossil fuel that representing unrenewable fuel. So its amount will attenuate and its price will more expensive in a short time. Therefore, need an existing amount of alternative energy which can replace fossil fuel role as power station in future. Each city in Madura Island has a great amount of alternative energy which representing renewable energy. However still a little amount has exploited.
