Abstract

Permasalahan kehilangan air pada pendistribusian air bersih harus ditangani sehingga meningkatkan jumlah ketersedian air untuk dikonsumsi, pemanfaatan sumber air baku lebih optimal, menurukan biaya operasi serta melindungi kesehatan masyarakat karena menurunnya kualitas air akibat adanya kebocoran pipa. SPAM Kutawaringin dan Sodong-Soreang merupakan wilayah pelayanan Perumda Air Minum Tirta Raharja. Pada tahun 2021, area pelayanan ini memiliki angka kehilangan air masing-masing sebesar 31% dan 31,9%. Tingginya kehilangan air didominasi oleh kehilangan air fisik, sehingga melalui diperlukan sebuah kajian pembentukan DMA berdasarkan kriteria ideal sebagai salah satu strategi dalam mengendalikan kehilangan air. Pada penelitian ini, DMA terpilih pada area sodong-soreang dan kutawaringin ditentukan melalui metode scoring. Pengendalian tekanan pada jaringan distribusi di DMA terpilih menjadi prioritas dalam menurunkan kehilangan air fisik sebelum DMA tersebut dioperasikan. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengendalian tekanan berupa penempatan ulang Bak Pelepas Tekan (BPT), penempatan dan pengaturan ulang Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV), menunjukkan hubungan penurunan kehilangan air secara signifikan. Pada DMA Parung Serab, melalui pengaturan ulang batasan tekanan pada PRV (alternatif 1) tingkat kehilangan air dapat menurun sebesar 1,6%. Pada Alternatif 2 melalui melalui pekerjaan penempatan ulang posisi satu PRV eksisting dan pengaturan batasan tekanannya dapat menurunkan tingkat kehilangan air sebesar 6,11%. Pada alternatif 3 melalui melalui pekerjaan penempatan ulang posisi satu PRV eksisting dan pengaturan batasan tekanannya dapat menurunkan tingkat kehilangan air sebesar 6,49%. Pada DMA Blok I, pada alternatif 1 melalui modifikasi sistem input sistem tingkat kehilangan air dapat menurun sebesar 2,34%. Alternatif 2 dilakukan melalui pemindahan Bak Pelepas Tekan (BPT) penurunan kehilangan air didapatkan sebesar 4,47%. Sedangkan pada Alternatif 3, melalui pemindahan BPT dan pemasangan 2 unit PRV, kehilangan air dapat menurun sebesar 6,36%

The problem of water loss in clean water distribution must be handled to increase of water availability for consumption, more optimal utilization of raw water sources, reduce operating costs and protect public health due to decreased water quality due to pipe leaks. SPAM Kutawaringin and Sodong-Soreang are the service areas of Perumda Air Minum Tirta Raharja. In 2021, these service areas had water loss number 31% and 31.9%. The biggest water loss is dominated by physical water loss, a study of created DMA based on ideal criteria is needed as one of the strategies in controlling water loss. In this study, the selected DMA in the sodong-soreang and kutawaringin areas were determined through the scoring method. Pressure control in the distribution network in the selected DMA is a priority in reducing physical water loss before the DMA is operated. In this study, pressure control was carried out in the form of re-locating the Pressure Release Tub (BPT), placing and resetting the Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV), showing a significant relationship to reducing water loss. In the Parung Serab DMA, through resetting the pressure limit on the PRV (alternative 1) the water loss rate can decrease by 1.6%. In Alternative 2, through the work of redeploying the position of one existing PRV and setting its pressure limit, the water loss rate can decrease by 6.11%. In alternative 3 through the work of redeploying the position of one existing PRV and setting the pressure limit can reduce the level of water loss by 6.49%. In DMA Block I, in alternative 1 through modification of the system input system, the water loss rate can decrease by 2.34%. Alternative 2 is carried out through the removal of the Press Release Tub (BPT), a decrease in water loss is obtained by 4.47%. While in Alternative 3, through the removal of BPT and installation of 2 PRV units, water loss can decrease by 6.36%
