Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed many aspects of people's lives, one of which is in the education sector. Currently the world of education is experiencing difficulties in starting face-to-face learning because despite the implementation of health protocols. This phenomenon needs to be analyzed more deeply with tested variables. Research related to human behavior and perception itself has produced several theories such as the Technology Acceptance Model, Protection Motivation Theory, Theory of Planned behavior, and Kawaii Response. This study combines variables from the four theories and analyzes their correlation with the level of compliance of children and parents in wearing masks and hand sanitizers in the school environment. The analysis in this study was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling. The result of this research is that there are five significant correlations between variables, namely Perceived Effectiveness, Perceived Behavioral Control, Perceived Kawaii and Perceived Vulnerability have a significant effect on Intention to Use. This study also found that the Attitude, Descriptive Norms, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Effectiveness and Perceived Comfort factors had no significant effect on Intention to Use. The results of this study are expected to be the basis for the government to make policy during the endemic phase in Indonesia.
