Abstract
PT. Kaltim Daya Mandiri (KDM) merupakan salah satu perusahaan utilitas dan energi yang didirikan dengan tujuan untuk menyuplai kebutuhan utilitas pada industri Pupuk Kaltim dan perusahaan-perusahaan lain yang berada di lingkungan Kaltim Industrial Estate. Dengan banyaknya fasilitas produksi yang ditanggung oleh PT. KDM maka diperlukan koordinasi proteksi yang baik pada PT. KDM guna mengurangi dampak dari gangguan tenaga listrik yang dapat terjadi di pembangkit demi menjaga suplai daya pada fasilitas produksi di Kaltim Industrial Estate. Koordinasi proteksi pada PT. KDM dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan energi insiden dari busur api dan dilakukan dengan membahas mengenai penggunaan dan analisis dari over current relay dan ground fault relay. Koordinasi proteksi dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan energi yang dihasilkan dari insiden busur api supaya tidak melebihi standar yang diizinkan. Analisis busur api dilakukan dengan menggunakan perhitungan dengan standar IEEE 1584-2002 untuk menentukan energi insiden busur api. Hasil perhitungan energi insiden busur api akan menjadi acuan untuk penentuan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) untuk para pekerja berdasarkan standar NFPA 70E sebagai batas keamanan. Dari hasil analisis data simulasi maupun perhitungan manual pada sistem dengan kondisi existing maupun resetting diketahui bahwa terdapat penurunan energi insiden busur api pada bus KDM 11 KV, bus 02-MC-201, bus 158, bus 159 dan bus 14PN403. Hal ini disebabkan oleh penurunan FCT pada kondisi resetting, dimana rele sudah terkoordinasi dengan benar. Energi insiden busur api pada bus PSA N2-1 bertambah besar karena nilai FCT pada kondisi existing diubah dari 0,04 detik menjadi 0,14 detik.

PT. Kaltim Daya Mandiri (KDM) is a utility and energy company that was established to supply the utility needs of the Pupuk Kaltim industry and other companies within the Kaltim Industrial Estate. With many production facilities covered by PT. KDM, it is necessary to have a good coordination of protection at PT. KDM to reduce the impact of electrical faults that can occur at the plant to maintain the power supply to production facilities in the Kaltim Industrial Estate. Coordination protection at PT. KDM is carried out by considering incident energy of arc flash and by discussing the use and analysis of over current relays and ground fault relays. Protection coordination is carried out by considering the energy generated from the arc faults so that it does not exceed the permitted standards. Arc flash analysis was performed using calculation with the IEEE 1584-2002 standards to determine the arc flash incident energy. The results of arc flash incident energy calculation will be a reference for determining Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for workers based on the NFPA 70E standard as a safety limit. From the results of simulation data analysis and manual calculations on the system with existing and resetting conditions, it is known that there is a decrease in arc flash incident energy on bus KDM 11 KV, bus 02-MC-201, bus 158, bus 159 dan bus 14PN403. This is caused by a decrease in FCT in resetting condition, where the is coordinated correctly. The arc flash incident energy on bus PSA N2-1 increases because the FCT value in the existing condition is changed from 0.04 seconds to 0.14 seconds.
