Abstract

Digitalisasi sistem pembayaran menyebabkan adanya perubahan perilaku konsumen dalam proses transaksi dari tunai menjadi non-tunai. Media pembayaran elektronik yang banyak digunakan masyarakat Indonesia adalah mobile banking dan electronic wallet, dimana ShopeePay merupakan perusahaan non-bank penyedia QRIS terbaik di tahun 2021. Saat ini, seluruh penyedia jasa sistem pembayaran diwajibkan untuk menerapkan Quick Response Code Indonesia Standard (QRIS). Terdapat potensi penggunaan QRIS di Kota Surabaya sebagai ibu kota Jawa Timur yang didominasi oleh generasi Z sebagai pangsa pasar terbesar untuk peningkatan penggunaan uang digital. Sehingga penyedia perlu mengetahui faktor yang melatarbelakangi penggunaan e-payment terutama pada generasi Z. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variabel (1) trust, (2) perceived usefulness, (3) perceived ease of use, (4) social influence terhadap intention to use, dan (5) intention to use terhadap actual use e-payment, serta menganalisis pengaruh perbedaan media pembayaran (mobile banking dan ShopeePay) pada hubungan variabel yang telah disebutkan. Sebanyak 400 data terkumpul melalui kuesioner online. Namun, hanya 390 data valid yang selanjutnya diolah menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dan Multi-Group Analysis (MGA). Hasil SEM menunjukkan bahwa intention to use dipengaruhi oleh trust, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, dan social influence. Selain itu, intention to use memengaruhi actual use. Kemudian, hasil MGA menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan pengaruh media pembayaran pada hubungan trust dengan intention to use signifikan pada mobile banking, dan social influence terhadap intention to use signifikan pada ShopeePay.

The digitization of the payment system has led to a changes in consumer behavior in the transaction process from cash to non-cash. Electronic payment media that are widely used by Indonesians are mobile banking and electronic wallets, where ShopeePay is the best non-bank QRIS provider company in 2021. Currently, all payment system service providers are required to implement the Quick Response Code Indonesia Standard (QRIS). There is potential for the use of QRIS in Surabaya City as the capital of East Java, which is dominated by generation Z as the largest market share for increasing the use of digital money. So providers need to know the factors behind the use of e-payments, especially in generation Z. This study aims to analyze the influence of variables (1) trust, (2) perceived usefulness, (3) perceived ease of use, (4) social influence on intention to use, and (5) intention to use on actual use of e-payment, as well as analyze the effect of differences payment media (mobile banking and ShopeePay) on the relationship of the variables that have been mentioned. A total of 400 data were collected through online questionnaires. However, only 390 valid data were then processed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Multi-Group Analysis (MGA). SEM results show that intention to use is influenced by trust, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and social influence. In addition, intention to use affects actual use. Then, the MGA results show that there are differences in the influence of payment media on the relationship between trust and intention to use significantly on mobile banking, and social influence on intention to use significantly on ShopeePay.
