Abstract
Gempa bumi merupakan salah satu bencana alam yang sering terjadi di Indonesia, pada tahun 2021, tercatat sedikitnya 10.570 gempa bumi terjadi di wilayah Indonesia. Salah satu wilayah dengan potensi gempa bumi yang paling besar di Indonesia adalah Pulau Jawa. Tingginya potensi gempa bumi ini diikuti dengan potensi kerusakan materil dan ancaman terhadap nyawa yang sama tinggi. Hal ini, memunculkan kebutuhan untuk menciptakan bangunan tahan gempa pada daerah tersebut. Salah satu cara untuk membangun bangunan tahan gempa adalah dengan menggunakan sistem base isolator. Sistem base isolator dapat memisahkan reaksi antara bangunan atas dan pondasi dan dengan cara meningkatkan nilai damping struktur secara menyeluruh. Dengan cara ini, sistem base isolator dapat membantu pembangunan bangunan tahan gempa dengan cara mengurangi efek gempa yang dirasakan oleh bangunan itu sendiri. Dalam tugas akhir ini, akan dilakukan modifikasi terhadap Bank Jombang Tower yang merupakan gedung beton bertulang 7 lantai dengan sistem rangka pemikul momen dan dinding geser dengan menggunakan sistem isolasi dasar tipe High Damping Rubber Bearing. Desain yang dilakukan meliputi desain struktur sekunder, struktur primer, sistem isolasi dasar, dan pondasi. Analisis respon spektra dan analisis nonlinier time history dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja struktur. Dari hasil desain, periode fundamental struktur mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan setelah digunakan sistem isolasi dasar hingga 59.3%. Dilihat dari Rasio Partisipasi Massa Modal, sistem isolasi dasar memiliki partisipasi yang sangat tinggi dibanding struktur fixed base yaitu sebesar 98% pada moda pertama dibanding 73% pada struktur fixed base. Melalui analisis nonlinier riwayat waktu yang dilakukan, struktur isolasi mengalami penurunan sebesar 61.74%, 55.78%, dan 61% pada percepatan absolut lantai atap, gaya geser dan simpangan antar lantai dibanding struktur fixed base

Earthquakes are one of the natural disasters that often occur in Indonesia, in 2021, at least 10,570 earthquakes occurred in Indonesian territory. One of the areas with the greatest potential for earthquakes in Indonesia is Java Island. This high potential for earthquakes is followed by an equally high potential for material damage and threats to lives. This, raises the need to create earthquake resistant buildings in the area. One way to build earthquake resistant buildings is to use a base isolator system. The base isolator system can separate the reaction between the superstructure and the foundation and thus increase the overall damping value of the structure. In this way, the base isolator system can help build earthquake resistant buildings by reducing the effects of the earthquake felt by the building itself. In this final project, a modification will be made to Bank Jombang Tower which is a 7-storey reinforced concrete building with a moment-bearing frame system and shear walls using a basic isolation system of the High Damping Rubber Bearing type. The designs carried out include the design of secondary structures, primary structures, basic isolation systems, and foundations. Spectral response analysis and nonlinear time history analysis were performed to evaluate the performance of the structure. From the design results, the fundamental period of the structure has increased significantly after using the basic isolation system up to 59.3%. Judging from the Capital Mass Participation Ratio, the basic isolation system has a very high participation compared to the fixed base structure, which is 98% in the first mode compared to 73% in the fixed base structure. Through nonlinear time history analysis, the isolation structure has decreased by 61.74%, 55.78%, and 61% in the absolute acceleration of roof floors, shear forces and floor drift compared to the fixed base structure
