Abstract

Optimasi dilakukan dengan bantuan software POM-QM for Windows 3.

The food sector is a basic human need that needs to be considered. The Baru Irrigation Area District Cluring Banyuwangi Regency which has an area of 5,945 ha is one of the areas that plays an important role in food production. The area experiences significant water discharge problems during the rainy and dry seasons. This problem affects the cropping pattern. This cropping pattern problem can have an impact on food availability and can also have an impact on the welfare of local farmers. Optimization of cropping patterns has been carried out by previous researchers, namely in 2016 and obtained the cropping pattern of rice/crops - rice/ sugarcane - rice/crops/sugarcane with a planting intensity of 300% and the maximum profit of agricultural products obtained for a year is Rp. 224,826,400.00. Given the problem of changes in the availability of water discharge in the significant rainy and dry seasons that are currently still occurring so that it has an impact on planting patterns, it is necessary to re-optimize cropping patterns. Optimization of cropping patterns is carried out using rainfall and climatology data from 2012-2021 using the linear program method. The chosen linear program method is a case of maximizing. Optimization is carried out with the help of POM-QM software for Windows 3. Optimization is carried out with two objective functions, namely based on the area of cropping land and agricultural profits. It is planned that as many as twelve alternative cropping patterns are then selected one cropping alternative with the most optimal results based on the land area and the profits generated. The result of this optimization is the cropping intensity and profitability of agricultural products. From all planned cropping alternatives obtained optimization results based on the area of planting land and agricultural profits. For optimization based on the area of cropping land, cropping intensity in a year was obtained by 300% and the profit of agricultural products in a year was Rp. 2,145,200,000,000.00 in the alternative cropping pattern 1 scenario B with rice/crops/orange – rice/crops/orange – rice/crops/orange. For optimization based on the profit of agricultural products, planting intensity in a year is obtained by 300% and the profit of agricultural products in a year is Rp. 2,443,395,000,000.00 in the alternative cropping pattern 1 scenario A with the orange - orange - orange.
