Abstract

Kamar mesin merupakan tempat yang sangat fital di kapal. Oleh karena itu perancangan di kamar mesin tidak boleh sembarangan, maka dibutuhkan suatu ilmu untuk merancangnya selain itu rules-rules yang ada juga dipelajari. Ergonomic di kamar mesin adalah faktor yang memberikan hubungan antara mesin dan sistem permesinannya dengan operator / manusia. Dari kebutuhan tersebut diperlukan rancangan penempatan peralatan pada kamar mesin yang sesuai dengan anatomi tubuh manusia, sehingga akan memberikan kenyamanan dan keamanan awak kapal untuk mengoperasikan peralatan dan meminimalkan kecelakaan karena keterbatasan manusia. Permasalahan yang timbul dalam hal ini adalah bagaimana cara untuk menganalisa kamar mesin kapal Indonesia berdasarkan aturan ergonomics. Hasil yang diharapkan perangkat yang dibuat dapat memberikan rekomendasi hasil analisa yang telah dilakukan, untuk mempermudah pengecekan dan juga dapat dipakai sebagai pertimbangan dalam rangka redesain.

Engine room is a very vital place on the ship. Therefore the design of the engine room should not be arbitrary, then it takes a science to design it but it rules - rules that exist are also studied. Ergonomic in the engine room is a factor that gives the relationship between the engine and machinery with the system operator / human. From these needs required the design of equipment placement on the machine room in accordance with the anatomy of the human body, so that will give comfort and security crew to operate the equipment and minimize accidents due to human limitations. The problems that arise in this case is how to analyze the ship engine room of Indonesia based on ergonomics rules. Expected outcomes designed equipment to provide recommendations on the results of analysis that has been done, to facilitate checks and can also be used as consideration in order to redesign.
