Abstract
Pada menjalankan bisnisnya perusahaan EMKL menggunakan dua pola pengriman petikemas yaitu Full Container Load (FCL) dan Less Container Load (LCL), pada petikemas FCL keseluruhan ruangan diguanakan oleh satu shipper dan satu consignee, namun pada pola LCL terdapat berbagai shipper dan consignee di mana mereka hanya memesan ruangan yang mereka butuhkan sehingga penataan muatan merupakan hal yang sangat penting agar load factor dari petikemas tetap tinggi dan memaksimalkan keuntungan, namun yang terjadi di lapangan terdapat beberapa kerani stuffing yang tidak menata barang secara optimal dan tidak konsisten, hal ini dikarenakan sistem penataan yang ada masih bersifat manual atau bedasarkan nalar dan pengalaman masing – masing krani stuffing. Beberapa peruahaan EMKL mengeluh akibat dari kejadian ini, oleh karena itu perlu adanya program penataan muatan petikemas LCL untuk mengurangi ruangan kosong, mencegah terjadinya barang yang tertinggal akibat tidak dapat masuk kedalam petikemas, mencegah terjadinya stuffing ulang akibat tidak optimalnya penataan, dan mempermudah krani stuffing dalam penataan barang dengan prioritas tertentu. Pada penelitian ini penulis menggunakan algoritma best fit dan first fit untuk mendapatkan hasil penataan yang optimal namun masih dapat melayani barang dengan prioritas tertentu. Penelitian ini mendapatkan algoritma best fit menghasilkan load factor tertinggi namun algoritma first fit bermanfaat untuk petikemas LCL dengan beberapa barang yang memiliki prioritas. Namun untuk algoritma acak atau random mendapatkan hasil yang terburuk namun hal ini menggambarkan perusahaan EMKL yang tidak memiliki gudang dan langsung melakukan kegiatan stuffing di depo (stuffing dalam) dimana barang datang secara acak.

In carrying out its business, sea expedition company (EMKL) uses two shipping methods when carrying container, namely Full Container Load (FCL) and Less Container Load (LCL), in FCL containers the entire space of the conatiner is used by one shipper and one consignee, but in the LCL method there are various shippers and consignees where they they only reserve the space they need so that the arrangement of the cargo is very important so that the load factor of the containers remains high and maximizes profits, but what happens in real life is that there are several stuffing cranes that do not arrange goods optimally and are inconsistent, this is due to an organized arrangement system some are still manual or based on the reasoning and experience of each stuffing clerk. Several sea expedition companies complained about the consequences of this incident, therefore there is a need for an LCL container load management program to reduce empty spaces to prevent goods from being left behind due to not being able to be loaded into the container, prevent re-stuffing due to non-optimal arrangement, and facilitate stuffing cranes in Arrangement of goods with a certain priority. In this study the authors used the best fit and first fit algorithms to obtain optimal arrangement results but were still able to serve goods with certain priorities. This research finds that the best fit algorithm produces the highest load factor, but the first fit algorithm is useful for LCL containers with several items that have priority. However, the random or random algorithm gets the worst results, but this illustrates that the EMKL company does not have a warehouse and directly carries out stuffing activities at the depot (inside stuffing) where goods arrive randomly.
