Abstract
Proses produksi pupuk NPK di PT. Pupuk Indonesia atau biasanya dikenal dengan PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang selama ini, hanya melakukan monitoring proses produksi menggunakan metode secara deskriptif dari mekanisme grafik monitoring individual dimana hasil yang diperoleh efektif dari segi waktu dan metode. Proses produksi diperusahaan menggunakan mesin yang sama dalam memproduksi beberapa jenis pupuk NPK sehingga dari segi komposisi maupun ukuran yang dihasilkan pun berbeda - beda tergantung sesuai kebutuhan stok maupun permintaan customer. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan seringnya terjadi penyetelan ulang mesin sesuai dengan SOP yang sudah ditetapkan. Dampak dari kondisi tersebut adalah setiap awal produksi terjadi ketidaksesuaian pada produk yang cukup banyak sehingga untuk memonitoring proses produksi diagram kontrol berbasis koefisien variasi akan lebih relevan untuk digunakan. Adapun diagram control yang berbasis koefisien varians yaitu Auxiliary Information Based Generally Weighted Moving Coefficient of Variation (AIB-GWMCV), dimana berdasarkan kandungan utama yaitu nitrogen serta melibatkan auxliary information yaitu fosfor. Pemilihan auxiliary information (X) fosfor didasarkan pada terdapat korelasi yang cukup tinggi dengan karakteristik kualitas utama dan variabel tersebut tidak terjadi pergeseran yang terjadi pada karakteristik kualitas utama. Setelah melakukan monitoring diagram kontrol berbasis variasi dilanjutkan dengan melakukan analisa diagram Ishikawa agar dapat mengetahui lebih detail penyebab – penyebab terjadinya out of control. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah produksi pupuk NPK pada bulan Oktober hingga Desember 2021 dikarenakan pada bulan tersebut paling banyak memproduksi pupuk NPK. Jenis NPK yang diproduksi pada periode waktu tersebut adalah NPK 15-10-12, NPK 7-6-34 dan NPK 7- 6-34+0.6B. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat kepada perusahaan untuk mengetahui hasil monitoring proses produksi menggunakan diagram kontrol berbasis koefisien variasi dan mengetahui faktor – faktor penyebab dari out of control. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah terjadinya pergeseran koefisien varians pada produksi pupuk NPK. Hal tersebut diperkuat dengan hasil diagram Ishikawa yang menyatakan terjadi kerusakan pada sparepart mesin sehingga terjadi pemberhentian dalam proses produksi

NPK fertilizer production process at PT. Pupuk Indonesia or usually known as PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang has only monitored the production process using a descriptive method of the individual monitoring chart mechanism where the results obtained are effective in terms of time and method. The production process in the company uses the same machine in producing several types of NPK fertilizer so that in terms of composition and size produced it varies depending on stock requirements and customer requests. This resulted in frequent machine resets in accordance with predetermined SOPs. The impact of these conditions is that at the beginning of production there are quite a lot of product discrepancies so that for monitoring the production process a control chart based on the coefficient of variation will be more relevant to use. The control chart based on the coefficient of variance is Auxiliary Information Based Generally Weighted Moving Coefficient of Variation (AIB-GWMCV), which is based on the main content, namely nitrogen and involves auxliary information, namely phosphorus. The selection of phosphorus auxiliary information (X) is based on the presence of a fairly high correlation with the main quality characteristics and this variable does not occur in the main quality characteristics. After monitoring the variation-based control chart, it is continued by analyzing the Ishikawa diagram in order to find out in more detail the causes of out of control. The data used in this study is the production of NPK fertilizer from October to December 2021 because that month produces the most NPK fertilizer. The types of NPK produced during this time period were NPK
15-10-12, NPK 7-6-34 and NPK 7-6-34+0.6B. This research is expected to provide benefits to companies in knowing the results of monitoring the production process using a control chart based on the coefficient of variation and knowing the causative factors of out of control. The results obtained from this study is a shift in the coefficient of variance in the production of NPK fertilizer. This is reinforced by the results of the Ishikawa diagram which states that there is damage to the engine spare parts resulting in a stoppage in the production process.
