Abstract

In the last 10 years there were 27% of earthquakes from the total disaster in the Maluku Islands. Due to the geographical condition of the Maluku Islands is the cause of the distribution of logistical assistance that is less effective, the distribution of logistical assistance to rely on warehouses available in the big islands in Indonesia. The purpose of this final project is to determine the condition of the distribution of logistics areas prone to natural disasters to the islands at this time, to know the needs of victims of natural disasters, and create a model for the distribution of logistical assistance to disaster-prone areas in the archipelago. The delivery of aid to disaster victims uses 3 (three) modes, namely ships to meet the needs of assistance during the emergency response period, namely for 1 (one) month, helicopters to meet the needs of victims on the first day before the arrival of the ship, and trucks for the distribution of logistical assistance from the port to the destination. The needs that are needed immediately on the first day of the disaster are: clothing, lighting equipment, tents and blankets, tableware, cooking utensils, and medicines for each victim.
