Abstract

Produk edisi terbatas atau limited edition menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi konsumen di Indonesia, karena sifat konsumtif yang tumbuh untuk memenuhi selera dan gengsi konsumen dalam kepemilikan barang edisi terbatas tersebut, sehingga harga jualnya lebih mahal dibanding produk dengan sistem produksi massal. Terdapat peluang yang cukup besar pada industri furnitur di pasar domestik mencermati fenomena konsumen yang berusaha untuk tampil beda mulai dari gaya berpakaian hingga interior huniannya. Saat ini mulai bermunculan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang bespoke furniture atau furniture yang dibuat sesuai pesanan customer. Terutama ketika para content creator menampilkan perabotan-perabotan rumah yang unik sehingga perusahaan bespoke furniture tersebut mendapatkan atensi lebih dari publik yang sesuai dengan target pasar. Gaya desain yang seringkali dijadikan acuan produk edisi terbatas ini didominasi oleh gaya postmodern dimana rancangannya tidak memiliki aturan mulai dari bentuk, material, hingga pemilihan warna dilakukan melalui eksplorasi serta imajinasi desainer. Dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data mulai dari studi literatur seperti pengertian stool dan jenis-jenisnya, tinjauan gaya desain postmodern serta penerapannya pada produk furniture, karakteristik anyaman serta materialnya pendukungnya, dilakukan wawancara mendalam terhadap target user dengan tingkat finansial menengah ke atas untuk mengetahui selera dan keinginan mereka. Selanjutnya diidentifikasi melalui affinity diagram yang berisikan ketakutan, keinginan, kebutuhan pengguna pada produk kedepannya. Konsep yang dibawa pada produk ini adalah: limited, unique, dan cultural.

The influence of limited edition product labels is a special attraction for consumers in Indonesia, where the consumptive nature grows to fulfill their taste and prestige in owning these limited edition items, so it's no wonder that the prices are even higher than products with mass production systems. . In the furniture industry, there are quite large opportunities in the domestic market if you look at the increasing number of users currently competing to be who is the most different, starting from the style of clothing to the interior of their homes. Currently, companies that are engaged in bespoke furniture or furniture made to order are starting to appear. This becomes more interesting for the audience or viewers when content creators showing their unique home furnishings so that these bespoke furniture companies get more attention from the public who match their target market or are just looking around. The design style that is widely used as a reference for this limited edition product is dominated by a postmodern style in which the design does not have rules, starting from shape, material, to color selection, which is carried out through exploration and the designer's imagination. It was carried out by collecting data starting from literature studies such as the definition of stool and its types, reviewing postmodern design styles and their application to furniture products, wicker characteristics and supporting materials, conducting in-depth interviews with target users with middle to upper financial levels to find out their tastes and desires. Furthermore, it is identified through an affinity diagram which contains the user's fears, desires, needs for the product in the future. The concept brought to this product is: limited, unique, and cultural.
