Abstract
Dalam upaya meningkatkan visi misi pemerintah terkait memajukan kemandirian nasional dalam manufaktur industri alat kesehatan salah satu perusahaan manufaktur alat kesehatan PT.XYZ memiliki permasalahan dalam memenuhi demand pada kondisi pandemic. Salah satu faktor yang merugikan perusahaan meliputi faktor keterlambatan dalam memenuhi orderan. Faktor tersebut dipengaruhi oleh sistem produksi dan tata letak pada perusahaan yang memiliki banyak faktor pemborosan sehingga seringnya terjadi penumpukan produk mempengaruhi area kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisa kondisi existing sistem produksi di PT.XYZ dalam upaya mengurangi pemborosan yang ditinjau berdasarkan proses produksi dan tata letak perusahaan dengan menggunakan metode lean six sigma DMAIC. Tools yang digunakan berupa value stream mapping, from to chart, process activity mapping, dan root cause analysis. Hasil menunjukkan berkurangnya pemborosan yang dibuktikan dengan peningkatan presentase value added activity dari 31% menjadi 91%. Rekomendasi perubahan layout dapat mengurangi biaya dari Rp. 11.661.171 turun menjadi Rp. 4.324.918. Analisa akar penyebab menggunakan fishbone diagram dan menentukan identifikasi rekomendasi perbaikan.

In an effort to improve the government's vision and mission related to advancing national independence in the manufacturing of the medical device industry, one of the medical device manufacturing companies, PT. XYZ, has problems meeting demand during a pandemic. One of the factors that harm the company includes delays in fulfilling orders. These factors are influenced by the production system and layout in companies that have many waste factors so that product buildup often affects the work area. This research was conducted to analyze the existing condition of the production system at PT. XYZ in an effort to reduce waste which was reviewed based on the production process and company layout using the lean six sigma DMAIC method. The tools used are value stream mapping, from to chart, process activity mapping, and root cause analysis. The results show a reduction in wastage as evidenced by an increase in the percentage of value added activity from 31% to 91%. Recommendations for layout changes can reduce costs from IDR 11.661.171 decreased to IDR 4.324.918. Root cause analysis using a fishbone diagram and identifying recommendations for improvement.
