Abstract
Produk perhiasan tidak benar-benar diminati oleh Generasi Z dikarenakan daya beli Gen Z yang masih rendah yaitu kurang dari $200. Beberapa yang dapat meningkatkan ketertarikan Gen Z terhadap perhiasan adalah dengan mengangkat isu sosial dan green-product. Kustomisasi juga diharapkan menjadi tren yang besar, karena karakteristik Gen Z yang kreatif dan inovatif sehingga diharapkan Gen Z akan tertarik dengan one-of-a-kind jewelry. Perhiasan transformable sebagai bentuk dari kustomisasi adalah perhiasan yang dapat diubah-ubah baik bentuk maupun fungsinya oleh pengguna sendiri, sehingga cocok dengan pribadi Gen Z. Sementara itu, menurut data dari SIPSN pada tahun 2018, plastik menyumbang sampah kota sebanyak 10,58%. Untuk mengurangi sampah yang ada, hal-hal yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan mengurangi penggunaan plastik atau mendaur ulang sampah plastik yang sudah ada. Daur ulang dapat dilakukan secara profesional dengan mengolah sampah plastik menjadi bahan plastik kembali, atau dengan mengubah sampah plastik menjadi produk lain seperti untuk material atraktif perhiasan yang cocok dengan value Gen Z. Pada tahun 2019, harga sampah plastik menurun yaitu Rp4.000/kg saja. Perancangan ini dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data melalui dua metode, yaitu primer dan sekunder. Metode primer berasal dari kuesioner, wawancara ahli, roleplaying, purposive sampling, eksperimen dan analisis. Sementara metode sekunder berasal dari tinjauan riset terdahulu, literatur, produk eksisting, positioning, persona, imageboard, moodboard, dan simulasi 3D. Perancangan ini menghasilkan 3 series perhiasan transformable dengan material atraktif daur ulang plastik PET, yaitu Series Klar, Series Rium, dan Series Eleu. Desain perhiasan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan value sampah plastik, memenuhi kebutuhan dan preferensi Gen Z, serta memberi lapangan pekerjaan perempuan di kelompok marginal.

Jewelry products are not really in demand by Generation Z because Gen Z's purchasing power is still low, which is less than $200. Some things that can increase Gen Z's interest in jewelry are by raising social issues and green products. Customization is also expected to be a big trend, due to the creative and innovative characteristics of Gen Z so it is expected that Gen Z will be interested in one-of-a-kind jewelry. Transformable jewelry as a form of customization is jewelry that can be changed both in form and function by the user himself so that it fits the personality of Gen Z. Meanwhile, according to data from SIPSN in 2018, plastic contributed 10.58% to city waste. To reduce existing waste, things can be done are to reduce the use of plastic or recycle existing plastic waste. Recycling can be done professionally by processing plastic waste into plastic material again, or by converting plastic waste into other products such as attractive jewelry materials that match Gen Z values. In 2019, the price of plastic waste decreased, namely IDR4,000/kg. This design is done by collecting data through two methods, namely primary and secondary. The primary method comes from questionnaires, expert interviews, role-playing, purposive sampling, experiments, and analysis. While the second method comes from a review of previous research, literature, existing products, positioning, persona, imageboard, mood board, and 3D simulation. This design produces 3 series of transformable jewelry with attractive recycled PET plastic materials, namely the Klar Series, the Rium Series, and the Eleu Series. This jewelry design is expected to increase the value of plastic waste, meet the needs and preferences of Gen Z, and provide jobs for women in marginalized groups
