Abstract
Sejalan dengan pertumbuhan rumah susun sewa, produk furnitur penunjang aktivitas yang sesuai lingkungan rumah susun masih sedikit, furnitur yang dimiliki penghuni rumah susun merupakan furnitur yang dahulu ditempatkan pada rumah kontrakan, kesulitan mobilitas dan keterbatasan ruang menjadi penghalang penghuni rusun dalam mendapatkan furnitur yang tepat. Kemampuan konsumsi masyarakat penghuni rusun berada di tingkat rendah sampai menengah, keterbatasan ruang, dan kesulitan mobilitas menjadi batasan dalam mengkompromikan antara furnitur yang dapat menunjang aktivitas penghuni rusun dengan produksi dan distribusi yang relatif terjangkau dari aspek ekonomi dan lingkungan. Penyimpanan sering kali menjadi kebutuhan penting dalam hunian rusun yang seringkali diperuntukan dalam fungsionalitasnya untuk menyimpan berbagai hal secara terpusat. Dengan tiga poin objektif; desain timeless yang merupakan arah desain yang holistik tidak terikat oleh tren dan gaya hidup, produk yang mudah didapatkan dalam aspek ekonomi dari proses produksi serta efektivitas distribusi, dan furnitur yang berbasis DIY (Do It Yourself) merupakan furnitur yang dapat di-assembly manual oleh pengguna serta untuk kostumisasi dan servis per-bagian modul. Desain penyimpanan yang memiliki konsep multifungsi dan space saving dengan sistem pemasangan knockdown merupakan solusi yang perlu diaplikasikan bersama produk dengan keterjangkauan yang mudah. 2. Desain penyimpanan rak modular menggunakan platform rangka Krisbow 90×30×180 CM lima tingkat dengan tiga item rangka tersusun dua sejajar dan satu di sisi kanan dengan enam jenis modul yang dapat terfasilitasi diantaranya meja ekstensi dan lima jenis penyimpanan; penyimpanan dengan troli, rak tertutup, loker sliding, rak alas kaki, dan rak gantungan.

In accordance with the growth of government property of rental flats, there are still few furniture products to support activities appropriate for the environment of the flats, the furniture owned by flat residents is furniture that was previously placed in rented houses, mobility problems and limited space have become a barrier for flat residents in ensuring the proper furniture. In this approach, research begins by collecting information from flat occupants through activities, behavior, existing products, preferences, financial capabilities, and others related to flat occupancy utilizing shadowing, interviews, and questionnaire methods.x In flats, which are often designed with the capacity to centrally store a variety of objects, storage is often a crucial necessity. With three objectives; timeless design which is a holistic design direction not bound by trends and lifestyles, products that are easy to obtain in terms of the economic aspects of the production process and distribution effectiveness, and DIY-based furniture (Do It Yourself) is furniture that can be assembled manually by the user as well as for module. A solution that needs to be utilized with products that are easily affordable is a storage design that has a multifunctional and space-saving concept with a knockdown installation system. Design of a modular storage rack using a five-level Krisbow platform frame with 90×30×180 CM dimensions and three item frames arranged two parallel and one on the right side with six types of modules that can be facilitated, including extension tables and five types of storage: storage with trolleys, sliding door shelves, drawer, footwear racks, and hanging shelves.
