Abstract

Kawasan Selo Gajah di Gunung Pandan yang merupakan gunung api non aktif memiliki manifestasi panas bumi berupa sumber mata air panas. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi lapissan akuifer dibawah area sekitar sumber mata air panas Selo Gajah menggunakan metode geolistrik 1D (VES) konfigurasi Schlumberger dengan 8 titik pengukuran. Dari hasil interpretasi dan studi literatur geologi regional area setempat, didapatkan beberapa lapisan penyusun daerah penelitian berupa lempung pasiran, batupasir, tuff, dan breksia vulkanik. Terdapat lapisan yang tersebar merata dengan nilai resistivitas 0 – 14 Ωm yang diduga sebagai lempung pasiran berisi air panas, lapisan akuifer berupa batupasir terdapat pada Profil A - A’ yang melalui titik VES6 LINE3, VES3 LINE1, VES4 LINE2, dan lapisan hotspring berupa breksia vulkanik pada titik VES6 LINE2.

The Selo Gajah area on Mount Pandan, which is a non-active volcano, has geothermal manifestations in the form of hot springs. This study was conducted to identify the layers of the aquifer under the area around the Selo Gajah hot springs using the Schlumberger configuration 1D geoelectric method (VES) with 8 measurement points. From the results of the interpretation and study of the regional geological literature of the local area, several constituent layers of the research area were obtained in the form of clay sand, sandstone, tuff, and volcanic breccia. There is an evenly distributed layer with a resistivity value of 0 – 14 Ωm which is thought to be a clay sand filled with hot water, an aquifer layer in the form of sandstone is found in Profiles A - A' which goes through the points of VES6 LINE3, VES3 LINE1, VES4 LINE2, and a hotspring layer in the form of volcanic breccia at the point of VES6 LINE2.
