Abstract

Pada proses produksi yang baik tidak hanya memperhatikan aspek efisiensi dan efektivitas saja, namun juga memperhatikan aspek lingkungan. Proses produksi pupuk urea akan menghasilkan beberapa jenis limbah seperti limbah cair, limbah gas, limbah kebisingan dan limbah Bahan Berbahaya Beracun (B3). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan alternatif solusi perbaikan dalam mengurangi dampak pencemaran lingkungan dari kegiatan industri pupuk urea di PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. Pada penelitian ini direncanakan menggunakan metode Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) untuk mengukur dampak lingkungan yang disebabkan oleh industri pupuk urea dan meningkatkan kinerja lingkungan perusahaan dan metode TOPSIS sebagai pemilihan alternatif solusi perbaikan dampak lingkungan. Dari hasil analisis diketahui bahwa kategori dampak yang paling besar yaitu human toxicity. Pada setiap unit memiliki stasiun yang memiliki pengaruh dampa lingkungan terbesar, unit utilitas stasiun package boiler nilai sebesar 2,1 MPt, unit ammonia stasiun ammonia purification nilai sebesar 6,39 kPt, dan unit urea pada stasiun crystallizer nilai sebesar 2,62 GPt. Dilakukan integrasi dengan metode TOPSIS untuk pemilihan alternatif perbaikan. Nilai Risk Priority Index (RPI) yang tertinggi dengan nilai 0,88, yaitu mengganti bahan baku ammonia menjadi agromineral (A2).

The production process of urea fertilizer will produce several types of waste such as liquid waste, gas waste, noise waste and Hazardous Toxic Material (B3) waste. This study aims to provide alternative solutions for improvement in reducing the impact of environmental pollution from the urea fertilizer industry at PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. In this study it was planned to use the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method to measure the environmental impact caused by the urea fertilizer industry and improve the company's environmental performance and the TOPSIS method as an alternative of environmental impact improvement solutions. From the results of the analysis, it is known that the category of the greatest impact is human toxicity. Each unit has a station that has the greatest environmental impact, the utility unit at the package boiler station has a value of 2.1 MPt, the ammonia unit at the ammonia purification station has a value of 6.39 kPt, and the urea unit at the crystallizer station has a value of 2.62 GPt. Integration with the TOPSIS method is carried out for the selection of alternative improvements. The highest Risk Priority Index (RPI) value with a value of 0.88, namely changing the raw material from ammonia to agromineral (A2).
