Abstract

Pestisida kimia sangat efektif untuk membunuh organisme pengganggu tanaman (OPT), namun penerapan pestisida kimia mempunyai dampak negatif yang besar terhadap lingkungan dan hasil panen. Untuk mengurangi dampak negatif pestisida kimia maka diperlukan alternatif pestisida yang ramah lingkungan, salah satunya adalah pestisida organik. Pestisida organic adalah hasil dari proses pengguncangan bakteri Pseudomonas atau jamur Trichoderma Sp sehingga menghasilkan metabolit sekunder. Karena itu diperlukan mesin goncang (shaker machine) yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan metabolit sekunder. Dalam merealisasikan mesin goncang ini dilakukan tahapan pelaksanaan meliputi studi literature dan observasi, perencanaan konsep dan desain, perhitungan kecepatan goncangan mesin, pembuatan alat, pengujian mesin, dan pembuatan laporan. Setelah dilakukan proses pengguncangan selama kurang lebih 20 jam, dihasilkan metabolit sekunder dari bahan bakteri Pseudomonas, dimana tanda jadinya metabolit sekunder itu adalah baunya yang busuk dan menyengat. Mesin shaker ini memiliki ukuran 150 x 50 x 70 cm,dan kecepatan putaran 135 rpm.

Chemical pesticides are very effective in killing plant-disturbing organisms (OPT), but the application of chemical pesticides has a major negative impact on the environment and crop yields. To reduce the negative impact of chemical pesticides, we need alternative pesticides that are environmentally friendly, one of which is organic pesticides. Organic pesticides are the result of the process of shaking Pseudomonas bacteria or Trichoderma Sp fungi to produce secondary metabolites. Because of that, a shaker machine is needed which aims to produce secondary metabolites. In realizing this shaking machine, the implementation stages include literature studies and observations, concept planning and design, calculation of engine shaking speed, tool making, machine testing, and reporting. After being shaken for approximately 20 hours, secondary metabolites were produced from Pseudomonas bacterial material, where the sign of the secondary metabolites is their rotten and pungent odor. This shaker machine has a size, rotation speed of 135 rpm.
