Abstract
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) merupakan salah satu teknologi yang digunakan untuk memindai bagian otak manusia. Pada MRI, terdapat teknik yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan difusi air dalam otak, antara lain Diffusion Weighted Imaging (DWI) dan Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI). Pada penelitian ini digunakan DTI yang berbasis analisis sifat difusi air. Pada DTI terdapat parameter TR (Time Repetition), TE (Echo Time), dan b-value. Pada citra DTI, dapat dilakukan pelacakan serat (fiber tracking) yang sangat berguna untuk mendeteksi tumor pada otak dengan melihat struktur serat, serta warna yang telihat, mengamati aliran darah pada otak sebelum dilakukan tindakan pada pasien, serta mengetahui risiko yang mungkin terjadi pada pasien setelah dilakukan tindakan sehingga dapat dilakukan antisipasi. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan perbandingan struktur serat dan nilai FA (Fractional Anisotropy) pada 3 pasien dengan otak yang sehat dan otak penderita tumor otak. Dari pengamatan didapatkan perbedaan pada otak yang sehat dengan otak penderita tumor otak apabila dilihat dari struktur serat dan nilai FA nya.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is one of the technologies used to scan parts of the human brain. There are several techniques in MRI used to describe the diffusion of water in the brain, such as Diffusion Weighted Imaging (DWI) and Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI). In this study DTI is used based on the analysis of the diffusion properties of water. In DTI there are parameters TR (Time Repetition), TE (Echo Time), and b-value. In DTI images, fiber tracking can be carried out which is very useful for detecting tumors in the brain by looking at the fiber structure and visible color, observing blood flow in the brain before surgery on the patient, and knowing the risks that may occur to the patient after the procedure action so that it can be anticipated. In this experiment, comparisons of fiber structure and FA (Fractional Anisotropy) values were performed in 3 patients with healthy brains and brains with tumor otak. This study shows that there are differences between healthy brains and tumor otak patients brains when viewed from the fiber structure and FA values.
