Abstract

SMK kini lebih diminati daripada SMA karena lulusan memiliki peluang untuk bisa langsung terjun ke dunia kerja, melanjutkan pendidikan di perguruan tinggi, maupun berwirausaha. Karena pada jenjang SMK, siswa dibekali dengan kompetensi/ keahlian yang sesuai dengan pilihan dan kebutuhan pasar kerja dunia industri. Untuk menenuhi kebutuhan tenaga kerja industri tersebut, SMK SORE Tulungagung menyediakan 8 kompetensi keahlian. Selain menyiapkan siswa yang kompeten, SMK SORE Tulungagung juga menyiapkan siswa agar memiliki karakter yang baik salah satunya dengan mengadakan diklat karakter bela negara yang rutin dilaksanakan kepada siswa baru setiap tahunnya. Penanaman karakter akhlakul karimah tersebut bertujuan untuk mencetak lulusan agar memiliki kepribadian yang baik ketika terjun di masyarakat atau di dunia kerja sehingga dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan dunia industri untuk merekrut lulusan dari SMK SORE Tulungagung. Karakter lain yang perlu ditanamkan kepada siswa adalah sikap disiplin, bertanggungjawab, dan dapat bekerjasama dengan tim sebagai bekal dikehidupan bermasyarakat maupun di dunia kerja. Adapun nilai-nilai moral tersebut terkandung dalam Tari Reog Kendang yang merupakan salah satu kesenian khas Tulungagung. Maka dari itu perlu adanya pengenalan budaya lokal yakni Tari Reog Kendang kepada siswa agar mereka lebih mengenal dan peduli terhadap pelestarian budaya lokal. Untuk mencapai penanaman karakter tersebut, maka perlu adanya perencanaan desain interior yang diharapkan mampu mencerminkan karakter akhlakul karimah dan memperkenalkan budaya lokal kepada warga SMK SORE Tulungagung

Vocational schools are now more in demand than high schools because graduates have the opportunity to immediately enter the world of work, continue their education in tertiary institutions, or become entrepreneurs. Because at the SMK level, students are equipped with competencies/skills that are in accordance with the choices and needs of the industrial world job market. To meet the needs of the industrial workforce, SMK SORE Tulungagung provides 8 competency skills. In addition to preparing competent students, SMK SORE Tulungagung also prepares students to have good character, one of which is by holding state defense character training which is routinely held for new students every year. The inculcation of the Akhlakul Karimah character aims to produce graduates who have good personalities when involved in the community or in the world of work so as to increase the confidence of the industrial world to recruit graduates from SMK SORE Tulungagung. Other characters that need to be instilled in students are discipline, responsibility, and the ability to work with teams as a provision in social life and in the world of work. The moral values are contained in the Reog Kendang Dance which is one of Tulungagung's special arts. Therefore it is necessary to introduce local culture, namely the Reog Kendang Dance to students so that they are more familiar with and care about the preservation of local culture. To achieve this character building, it is necessary to have an interior design plan that is expected to reflect the character of akhlakul karimah and introduce local culture to the residents of SMK SORE Tulungagung
