Abstract
Energi listrik merupakan kebutuhan yang sangat vital dan penting bagi kehidupan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan hidup. Segala aktifitas yang dilakukan masyarakat pada saat ini sangatlah bergantung dengan adanya pasokan energi listrik yang diproduksi oleh pembangkit listrik yang kemudian disalurkan oleh Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN). PT. POMI (Paiton Operation & Maintenance Indonesia) merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang mengoperasikan dan mengelola pembangkit listrik tenaga uap di daerah Jawa dan Bali. Pada proses pembangkitan tenaga listrik diperlukan kontinuitas produksi energi listrik. Dalam proses produksi listrik, terdapat pulverizer yang memiliki peranan sangat vital. Pulverizer berfungsi menghaluskan batubara untuk pembakaran dan jika saat beroperasi terjadi permasalahan maka akan berpengaruh pada proses produksi listrik yang pada akhirnya akan menimbulkan kerugian bagi perusahaan. Untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab kerusakan dan mencegah kerusakan berulang pada pulverizer, maka dilakukan analisis kerusakan pada pulverizer dengan menggunakan metode FMEA. Analisis dilakukan pada dua komponen yang memiliki tingkat kegagalan paling tinggi berdasarkan data work order, yaitu grinding roller dan gearbox.Setelah nilai severity, occurrence, dan detection serta menghitung nilai RPN, maka dapat ditentukan penanganan yang tepat terhadap komponen dengan nilai RPN tinggi sehingga frekuensi kerusakan di masa yang akan datang dapat dikurangi

Electrical energy is a very vital and important need for life to improve the welfare of life. All activities carried out by the community at this time are very dependent on the supply of electrical energy produced by power plants which are then distributed by the State Electricity Company (PLN). PT. POMI (Paiton Operation & Maintenance Indonesia) is a company that operates and manages steam power plants in Java and Bali. In the process of generating electricity, it is necessary to continue the production of electrical energy. In the electricity production process, there is a pulverizer which has a very vital role. The pulverizer functions to refine coal for combustion and if problems occur during operation it will affect the electricity production process which will ultimately cause losses to the company.To identify the cause of the damage and prevent repeated damage to the pulverizer, a damage analysis to the pulverizer is performed using the FMEA method. The analysis was carried out on the two components that have the highest failure rate based on work order data, namely the grinding roller and gearbox. After the severity, occurrence, and detection values are calculated and the RPN value is calculated, the appropriate handling of components with high RPN values can be determined so that the frequency of damage is in the future can be reduced
