Abstract
Kegiatan pembangunan infrastruktur sarana dan prasarana di Indonesia yang tidak lepas dari penggunaan material berbahan plastik UPVC (Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) terus bertambah. Dengan adanya kebutuhan ukuran UPVC yang bervariasi, maka limbah yang dihasilkan juga meningkat. Karakeristik fisik dari UPVC (Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) yang tahan terhadap bahan kimia, cuaca, sifat elektrik dan aliran air dipertimbangkan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai zat aditif pada campuran aspal penetrasi 60/70 agar setara dengan campuran aspal PG (Performance Graded) 70. Penambahan serbuk limbah UPVC dalam campuran dilakukan dengan metode basah menggunakan variasi: 0%, 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% dan 10% terhadap berat aspal. Analisis yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengujian karakteristik aspal dari nilai penetrasi, daktilitas, titik lembek, titik nyala dan titik bakar. Serta karakteristik marshall dari nilai stabilitas, rongga dalam campuran (VIM), rongga dalam agregat (VMA), pelelehan (flow), kepadatan (density), rongga terisi aspal (VFA) dan Marshall Quotient (MQ) sesuai dengan persyaratan sesuai Spesifikasi Umum Bina Marga 2018.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persentase optimum penambahan UPVC terhadap aspal penetrasi 60/70 sebesar 6% dengan hasil penetrasi sebesar 68,80 (0,1 mm), nilai daktilitas 138 cm, titik lembek 65°C serta titik nyala dan titik bakar yaitu 251°C dan 272°C. Kemudian untuk penambahan kadar UPVC terhadap aspal penetrasi 60/70 menggunakan gradasi LTBA pada Kadar Aspal Optimum 5,45% dapat meningkatkan nilai karakteristik Marshall dengan hasil nilai stabilitas sebesar 1313,90 kg, nilai VIM 4,35%, nilai VMA 16,33%, nilai flow 4,37 mm, nilai density 2,28, nilai VFA 79,21% serta nilai MQ yaitu 300,89 kg/mm.
Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa campuran gradasi LTBA dengan menggunakan aspal penetrasi 60/70 ditambah 6% serbuk limbah UPVC dapat melebihi nilai stabilitas dari campuran gradasi LTBA dengan menggunakan aspal PG 70.

Infrastructure development activities for facilities and infrastructure in Indonesia cannot be separated from the use of materials made from UPVC (Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) plastic which continues to grow. With the need for varying sizes of UPVC, the waste generated also increases. The physical characteristics of UPVC (Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) which are resistant to chemicals, weather, electrical properties and water flow are considered to be used as additives in 60/70 penetration asphalt mixtures to be equivalent to PG (Performance Graded) 70 asphalt mixtures. Addition of waste powder UPVC in the mix was carried out by the wet method using variations: 0%, 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 10% by weight of asphalt. The analysis carried out in this study is testing the characteristics of asphalt from the value of penetration, ductility, softening point, flash point and burning point. As well as marshall characteristics from the value of stability, voids in the mixture (VIM), voids in aggregate (VMA), melting (flow), density (density), voids filled with asphalt (VFA) and Marshall Quotient (MQ) according to the requirements according to the General Construction Specifications Clan 2018.
The results of this study indicate that the optimum percentage of UPVC addition to asphalt penetration 60/70 is 6% with a penetration yield of 68.80 (0.1 mm), a ductility value of 138 cm, a softening point of 65°C and flash and burn points, namely 251°C and 272°C. Then for the addition of UPVC content to 60/70 penetration asphalt using the LTBA gradation at Optimum Asphalt Content of 5.45% can increase the Marshall characteristic value with a stability value of 1313.90 kg, VIM value of 4.35%, VMA value of 16.33% , the flow value is 4.37 mm, the density value is 2.28, the VFA value is 79.21% and the MQ value is 300.89 kg/mm.
Based on these results it can be concluded that the LTBA gradation mixture using 60/70 penetration asphalt plus 6% UPVC waste powder can exceed the stability value of the LTBA gradation mixture using PG 70 asphalt.
